Kim Ling in Barking and Dagenham

Pathetic service. Rubbish food. Every dish ordered was bland and with hardly any meat/seafood. Called to complain but was left baffled by their disinterest and they even hung up the phone! Worst chinese gaff in East London. Pic provided was just an example of one of the dishes (special fried rice)

I’m so disappointed. I used to get Kimling all the time and it was the best Chinese around.I can only assume they are living off a reputation of what they once were.I was honestly shocked out how much they had gone down hill.The chicken balls were soggy, the curry sauce was congealed where it had gone cold, the rice had a bite to it and the meat in the Chinese style and curry tasted rubbery. The portion of chips were so small. You would need to buy extra portions for each person.My husband picked it up and the lady was packing it up when he arrived. So there is no reason why the food should be cold.It’s safe to say we won’t be buying from here again.

Honey chilli chicken, stew duck in plum sauce, kung po chicken, ribs, crispy fried beef, I could go on and on. So so good, worth every penny, such tasty beautiful quality food cooked to perfection. Best Chinese food I've ever had.
