The food is OK at this restaurant, it's not fantastic but it's OK. The cauliflower is in a white sauce with no flavour and is cooked to mush, but the rest of the veg is not too bad. The gravy is lumpy but all in all OK for a fairly cheap dinner. The staff are nice. The restaurant area itself looks like it needs a good overhaul and deep clean.

We had a lovely meal on Wednesday 16th March. The staff were friendly and helpful and we didn't feel rushed at any point. We were particularly happy with Kerry who was our main server. She was professional but friendly and made our evening a very pleasant event. Thank you to everyone.

Friendly staff fun for kids yet they messed up a simple kids order & rather than say they was out of chicken burgers they put chicken nuggets in a bun poor quality nuggets. Decor is dated n carpets and lights windows all could do with a good clean food burnt stuffing! Meat looked and tastes old! Yet staff I wouldn't go back to eat yet for a drink I would!

Decided to have Saturday morning breakfast here, set cost - eat much much as you like including unlimited tea or coffee, a good selection from Bacon, sausages, eggs, Potato Hash, hash browns, baked beans, tinned tomatoes and mushrooms. Yorkshire puds with bacon and onion served also!Choice of white or brown bread available and a toaster if required as part of the meal.Found plenty of seating and service was good to be seated. Note it does get busier as the morning progressed. Will return as a good way to start your day, without all the faff 😉

I was very happy eating in this location. The service by Hayley on Sunday lunchtime was excellent. She really made our dining experience more pleasant. The food was very nice as well. I loved all the food except for the dauphinoise potatoes; they were quite horrible. Overall, great meal and service.

I LOVE Toby Carvery in general. Service in this one is absolutely abysmal I'm sorry to say. The food is incredible though so if you can tolerate waiting almost half hour for service then you're good to go!

I didn’t eat here only used the bar. Good place to meet old friends and catch up as they don’t play music so you don’t have to scream to be heard. Decorated really well inside. Downside, the barman wasn’t very friendly and told us to bring our empty pint glasses back which was a bit weird as it wasn’t even busy.

I’ve spent 9 weeks eating here over the last 3 months.I can honestly say the staff SHARON. And the rest of the team are brilliant so helpful. The manager is lovely she’ll take the time to have a natter. The food is really nice and great quality with a great menu if carvery is not you thing. They do take away and all the delivery services.A private function room is available if you fancy a bit off a party. And NO. I didn’t just eat carvery meals for 9 weeks.CheersDR
