One Love Caribbean Restaurant & Take Away in Barking and Dagenham

Meal is generally good, especially the chicken soup we had. Available are all the typical meals you find in a Jamaican restaurant. Hard food is also available, which tend not to be the case at many Jamaican/restaurant outside of london.

Lovely authentic Jamaican cuisine, deliciously cooked with real taste and flavours. I’m really pleased to know that we have a take away service that, supports the Caribbean community in Ilford and the surrounding areas. Let’s all support it, and keep it running for many more years to come.

Best Caribbean food in Essex!I don't write reviews but after phoning to pay my compliments after being Very satisfied, I've decided to share.....The food is authentic and very tasty, it's well seasoned and cooked to perfection, curry goat, hard food, vegetables, ackee and saltfish, rice and peas. Everything was cooked just right. Generous caribbean portion sizes and reasonably priced, served by family friendly staff. What more do you want!I've been supporting my local people since they opened and my only criticism sometimes is that the food choices run out quickly, but I guess it's because of all the above. Well done guys and compliments to the chef and the One love family/crew!!

Nice environment, delicious food but slow service due to limited numbers of staff. Food is good quality, cutlery is tissue wrapped, hot sauce available on all tables. Relaxing environment.

Not had Caribbean until you’ve had one love! Best in Essex, hands down. Always freshly made and jam packed with flavour. Oxtails ridiculously nice with sublime curry goat. I do however feel like their patties could be better, texture get so hard after left for a while.

Nice atmosphere and great food. Great flavours and excellent value. Been here a few times and will keep going back!

The food tastes really good, and the customer service is 5*, staff are very friendly. However, they can improve on their portions, considering how much rice they give, there is not enough meat in the meals compared to other Caribbean Takeaways

I've only been here twice and today was my second visit. The first time the food was good and I ordered a Guinness punch to go with my meal and once I'd taken a sip I realised it was alcoholic which (somewhat stupidly) I hadn't realised before ordering. As I was at work I couldn't/shouldn't of drank it so I took it back and the lady had no problem splitting the cost with me which I thought was nice of her. Today I had the oxtail with rice and peas and it was lovely. I'm not from round here but will be back the next time I'm in the area for sure.In short the food is good and the staff are friendly and welcoming to all races.Good food and good people!Top marks from me.I've added a couple of shots of the menu as I like to do that. Good welcoming and polite service,Food is always tasty. Great menu but runs out of food often due to the high demand. Caters for eating in and delivers free for orders of £10 within a 3 mile radius..
