Paya Cuisine in Barking and Dagenham

Horrendous, tasteless, siomai had a bone in it!!! Ribs.... What ribs? Mainly fat! Spring rolls empty just extra rolls of pastry to give the impression it was full, yea full of grease! Dripping in it! Curry was lovely hence the 1 star but that was the only good thing, I will never come back, I was so looking forward to this being my new favourite, such a shame they have no clue how to do both cuisines properly, perhaps stick to 1 and master it!

Not good value for money , over priced, average quality , won’t be returning in hurry .

Well where should I start... this was out first order from paya, and this is the last for sure. Our food was burnt , no taste, the sweet and sour chicken omg god save my enemies from eating it... and i payed £26 to "eat" a food what i dont even wish for my biggest enemies. I think if I was going to central london and eat from Wok to Walk was cheaper and much nicer. Was better to check the reviews before I send the order.

The worst Singapore rice noodles I’ve ever had they tasted like burnt charcoal! Very small portion of over done chips special fried rice has lettuce in it, threw it all in the bin! Wing hing is LOVLEY

Surprised on the prices and the packaging of the food. Not overly impressed at all and understand the negative reviews now.

Ordered on deliveroo (they have a 4.5 rating on there) but felt obliged to leave a google review as first time we've ordered from here and honestly one of the best Chinese takeaways we've ordered so not sure how it could possibly have such bad reviews on here. Really love the Asian fusion as only place I've been able to order crispy duck and Thai prawn crackers in one meal. Crispy sweet n sour chicken balls weren't greasy for once and the whole meal was really delicious. Good portion sizes too. Highly recommended the Char sui pork & mushroom foo yung! Will be ordering from PAYA again soon.

Ordered on deliveroo and was really pleased with the meal, not greasy at all, lovely flavours. Really high quality food! I don't trust the low rating on Google at all, on deliveroo they have a 4.5 rating, which is far more accurate. If you look at the people who have left 1 star reviews they have all only reviewed Paya restaurants, most giving the others 5 stars and this one 1 star. Clearly all the same person on different accounts. Don't be fooled, this is one of the best Chinese takeaways in the area!

Ordered through JE and everything we ordered was good. The drunken chicken and crispy beef were particularly good. Recommended.
