Cant give zero stars so Im guessing I have to give it 1 to be able to review the "service" we got here. Not clear with it's policy so both parties get confused, lie to you about not having rooms available but suddenly there are for a higher price, workers don't know the difference between minors and adults so they ask you litteraly 10+ times to explain & last but not least they would prefer to have an actual minor sleep outside rather than having him sleep in a room we already paid for (just imagine!). Honnestly felt like a genuine scam and was all around a fiesta to say the least.I stayed a couple of times at other premier inns and those were completely fine and enjoyable, but this experience completely ruined it for the future. Never coming back to this place.

Spent a night here to watch the Red Hot Chili Peppers in London Stadium, the reception staff were efficient with check-in even though we were early and quick to help with travel information to and from the stadium. Room was clean and tidy as expected and considering we were next to a dual carriageway we had a quiet nights sleep. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cheap nights stay for a nearby event.

Nowhere near the standard of Premier Inn, room dirty with piece of bread roll under the desk.Floor in the bathroom and in the main room noisy when you walked on it.Corridors stank of cigarettes and a musk.Went for breakfast and put our drinks and other bits down to go get our buffet breakfast and had to wait for the sausages and bacon, came back to our table for for it to have been cleared away and someone else sat there. Most defiantly won't be staying here again and has put me off a little to book with Premier Inn in the future

Booking was straight forward and worked well. On arrival the car park had plenty of spaces and the outside entrance lobby had a beautiful display of flowering plants to catch my eye. At reception a very helpful member of staff Chloe, dealt with our booking and parking arrangements. I also spoke to another helpful member of staff, Lisa who explained a few details regarding our need to walk into town. This was a very good start. The room No 128 was clean and very comfortable for our stay, we slept like a log. We really had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel branch for anyone needing to stay in Barking. In fact it is listed as a two star hotel, yet in our humble opinion it matched many 4 star hotels we have stayed at.We had tickets to see Queen and Adam Lambert at the O2 and just 10 minutes walk to the station and a few stops later we could enjoy a fabulous time.Sincere thanks from Emrys Skye at Spiritual Flow

Stayed on the 16th May, waiting for the usual Premier Inn email requesting feedback which unsurprisingly, never arrived. On arrival at the PI Barking, I was greeted by a queue to check in and then sent to a dirty room which hadn't been cleaned, returned to reception be moved and given a new room and key, no apology or reason given, the reception queue had grown considerably by now and they were under pressure. Second room was clean with the usual amenities and comfy bed, although overall the hotel felt tired and dated and the room had various marks and secondary glazing removed from the casing letting in noise. Had a meal deal so booked a table for dinner, joined the queue at the restaurant entrance at the booked time then waited at least 15 minutes, with no acknowledgement, while two members of staff were trying to cope with a full restaurant, but unfortunately, also ignoring people waiting who were getting increasingly upset. I asked the bar person if I could sit in the bar and use my voucher as it was empty, but was promptly told that wasn't possible and to go in the restaurant so after another wait, this was finally accomplished. The following morning I arrived for breakfast at around 8am to an empty restaurant of customers AND most of the breakfast items normally found on the buffet. Asked for yogurts to be told they've all gone, asked for sausages to be told the workmen ate them all, even another guest commented 'I know what your thinking' whilst trying to decide what to have from the few items that were left, even the continental choice was seriously lacking with empty baskets of the usual bread and pastry items. Even trying to use the coffee machine meant joining a queue of staff getting theirs. As a business account customer and staying in PI's on a regular basis, in multiple locations, it means there's a certain level of expectation. Often there's small issues with the rooms or service which can be forgiven as the staff work hard and are generally very pleasant, but on this occasion staff were unhelpful, disinterested, lacked any customer service skills and unfortunately, this hotel is failing the rest of the group. I won't be using this hotel again, even though the location was good for my needs.

Food was just kinda okay but the bed was nice and I loved the bathtub! Wish it had a mini-fridge or an ice machine. Other than location and food it was an okay place to stay.

Food is 5 star, really good selection, excellent service. Drinks are reasonably priced as well. All staff we interacted with were very helpful and polite. The down side for us was the rooms. The a/c was blowing out dead bugs and mould. We did raise this with the receptionist upon check out and a good Wil gesture was offered. It's the only thing that let down our stay.

Although the staff were polite and professional, the noise from the ventilation fan sounded more like an air raid alarm. I had to change room because of this but the noise emitted was only slightly lower. Apparently, this is an issue with the hotel. FYI, Internet speeds: free 1mbps download, 0.5 upload. Premium Internet (chargeable) 6mbps download 3 upload. This was the average duration my 4-night stay. Breakfast good however.

WORST HOTEL experience ever! This is basically how it went quick shut and closed case from Premier Inn.....PREMIER INN barking - you have been fined £100 for smoking in the room we found evidence. 😄💷💷Me - what! You must be mistaken! we DON'T smoke.😲PREMIER INN barking - you have to contact Guest Relations if you want you money back.🤣💷💷PREMIER INN GUEST RELATIONS - tuff luck case closed!🤣😂😅💷💷Me - listen to me its not us!😡☹😟 😔PREMIER INN - bye!😂🤣🤣😂💷💷Me and my partner was accused of smoking in the room! We was fine £100! We don't smoke!! One carrying bag and bin was NOT clean or thrown away by cleaners from the customers who stayed before us. Rubbish bin and bag does not belong to us accept our takeaway food bag that we had to put all into one bag that was left behind by someone else. We had no choice because bin was NOT empty! We are utterly shocked the way they handle this and accusing us as a innocent customers! This is not right. The amount of stress they have caused me! I've stayed at Premier Inn Hotel Barking dozen of times and respected there rules and policy BUT after being accused of something we haven't done really had shocked and upset us. The Manager communication was so poor and not respectful or NOT helpful at all. They did not bother investigating the cleaners but instead investigate me and partner which really found NO evidence against us other than a rubbish bags/ bins left behind perhaps they had something inside left by previous customers BUT NOT us!They should look towards the cleaners who did NOT clear the rubbish bin and bags out the night before and make sure they do there job properly! I told the cleaner that I was not happy about the rubbish which was left in our room and not cleaned before our arrival.Premier Inn barking managers has NOT dealt with this situation or even listen to what we told them. So unprofessional and I've explained over and over again what ever evidence you have its NOT us!!Please avoid this hotel and watch out they are after your money.I've lost my total respect for Premier Inn!!
