Red Rooster in Barking and Dagenham

Omg its my first time visiting this store, customer service was good but omg the food was revolting!!!! The chicken was smelling so bad like it was old and gone off, i can't believe it how can they sell off chicken smelly chicken to customers, i ate one and rest in bin! Completely disgusted by the whole experience. Will not visit again and nor should anyone who is looking for a decent shop to grab chicken and chips :/

Horrible customer service and very lazy staff. They told me to wait for 10 mins for the hot wings but i ended up waiting for 40mins. Some of the food had already been Packed earlier so when i came home the chips were very soggy, i had to put them all in the bin. Do not recommend.

really disappointed. Ordered a lamb kofta. But instead got a microwaved lamb role in a rock hard pita bread. I will be taking this up with trading standards as misleading menus are unacceptable. Finally the guy on the phone didn’t realise I speak his language when he passed over the phone he said. Speak to this dog about his order. Is this how you treat your customers? I shall never order from here again. The saddest part is I visit them regularly

The wings before were hot and spice which was really good but now they have reduced the spices and which is tasteless, I recommend to increase the spice to what it was, else they are the best on the street

Had grilled chicken - was below average, some parts of the chicken not cooked properly. Staff appeared very disorganised and all I’ve the place.

Worst place to eat in Dagenham by far! The few times I have tried it the fries were old and refried a number of times Chicken burger was too salty and the bun was as hard as a rock

Bought a £2.70 'Chicken kofta wrap', it ended up being literally 2 mini seekh kebabs that you buy from the corner shops that costs £4 for 20.

The food was absolutely terrible.The chicken wings were joined and hard to seperate, the breadcrumb was soggy, the coating on my drumstick was very soggy and easily fell of the chicken.Worst of all was the chicken fillet burger, it had a horrible taste, and again the breadcrumb was soggy and tasted really bad. The chips had barely any potato in them.The customer service wasn't great either, the staff who served me had a rude tone and attitude, and was very stingy with the sauces when I asked for sauce, only gave a sachet of ketchup for my whole meal.

The staff is very friendly but unfortunately the food does not taste that great. The tower burger tastes cheap, the bread bun falls apart, the chicken patty, a watery Cheap replacement for a actual chick fillet. But the worst part is the chicken wings with are so small that it worriedMe if it was really chicken. It tasted slightly uncooked near the bone and had a unpleasant smell. I was really disappointed by the food only to end with a belly ache in the morning.

If I'm honest they don't even deserve 1 star. The service is dreadful. Rude and ignorant. They got my order wrong and had to check 3 times what i had said and everytine got it wrong. The food was pretty dry and gave me an intense stomach ache, I had to be sent home from work because of the pain. Not going there again for sure. The hygiene standard is terrible. One guy just starred at me drinking from one of the blender jugs. They probably don't even wash them.
