Best fish and chip shop for miles. It cannot be beaten for quality and value.

This has got to be my favourite chip shop. The staff are always very friendly and the food is always very good never greasy perfect I would say.

Me and my daughter order from here all the time. The food is delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly. And as we're regular customers the owner likes to give our dog 1 or 2 treats at closing time. Such a kind man.

It is a very nice, calm and fantastic college no disobedience, no discrimination, no bullying all the teachers and staff are kind and straight forward. Every one minds their own business and focuses on their own work. Yh I love the college its sweet and nice.

Freshly cooked fish + chips which is good, other food cooked chicken wings/nuggets, hot dogs. Wrapped nicely to takeaway. Friendly polite staff. Fish bar kept clean,adheres to. COVID-19 rules. Would recommend.

What a great place for fish and chips, just how they used to be without the newspaper....Freshly cooked fish with crispy coating and a flaky flesh. Cooked to perfection, with no excess grease.Chips were hot and tasty, not greasy, a well portioned size.This place had been here 50+ years which goes to show how good it is.Highly recommended with very competitive prices....

Lovely fish and chips.Luckily my local.Can improve..Would be nicer if they had a better shop front and did large and normal chips rather than the one portion they only do.Plus it would be more pleasant if the fried fishs were not placed on the fryer lid. It's not a hygiene issue but just not a pleasant site. A basket would be better.And like many independent businesses, customer service can be heavily improved.The people are lovely but would do their business a massive favour by this one fact that well established businesses know and heavily invest on as it brings in customers and their willing to spend regularly with loyalty.

Been going here for as long as I remember, and can comfortably say it's one of the best fish and chip shops I've ever been to.The chips are the lightest, fluffiest things you'll ever eat, and the fish is always fresh. Portion sizes are a tad on the small side, so it's not always the best value takeaway, but what you do get is amazing.I read an interview with some fishmongers on Billingsgate market, and a couple of them recommended Seahorse because apparently they always make sure everything they sell is fresh. Make of that what you will.
