The Frying Pan in Barking and Dagenham

I gave a one star because there was not a zero. I recently came back from Spain and have been working long days on renovation work to my Son's new property. I have used The Frying Pan for a number of years and because we can not get a decent lamb shish in Spain, I was extremely looking forward to a large lamb shish from my favorite kebab shop. I ordered a large lamb shish, a regular lamb shish, both with garlic sauce and chilli sauce, which has always arrived in separate tubs, and regular chips through Ubereats with a 35% discount. When the delivery finally got to us I was presented with what can only be described as mush. The pitta bread and meat were soaked beyond recognition. To be honest I would not serve this to a dog. I immediately called the manger of the Frying Pan to be told that it was my fault and that's what I had ordered. He then told me that I was a regular customer and should have known better. I took the whole meal back to the shop and showed him the issues we had, to which he again he told us it was our fault. As a former restaurant owner I would never, ever speak to my customers in the way that this man spoke to me. What ever happened to the customer is always right? I have had ropey meat from this establishment in the past, but every animal tastes different and I've let it ride, but to be served this sub standard food and be told that it's my fault, is ridiculous. I can only presume that because these establishments are losing money to Ubereats, they do not care what quality of meal they are sending out to the customer. I would now never use or recommend this establishment again and would recommend that the manager takes part in a customer service course. At the end of the day, this is 2022 in the UK. Very disappointed. It would have been very easy for this man to retain a customer, but he chose not to. Cheese and beans on toast for me tonight, thank Frying Pan.........

So so disappointed !! Have been a customer of the Frying Pan for years and have always enjoyed our meals. However, after ordering from uber this evening with a 35% discount our food was delivered late, cold and sub-standard. Having tried to rectify the situation with management and returning the food to their premises we was only met with hostility and told it was our fault…. they refused us a refund…. you decide??

Ordered at 19:40. Still nothing at 21:00 keep saying "its coming". Full of lies. Shop is only 5 minutes drive away. Useless. Avoid.

I ordered food from frying pan for delivery and it literally took 1 hour and 30 minutes to be delivered. Prior to this order I made another order with them before and they barely put any food and what ever was given to me wasn't put there with care. Its like they just threw it all in the bags to get over with it. Don't buy from frying pan. Food comes cold, not worth the wait.

I ordered from frying pan this evening overall a good exsperience,I had lamb doner and chicken shish combination meal which was very tasty and cooked very well,the only thing was I ordered a meal and it never came with chips as it should ,I give it a respectable three stars based on customer service and a reliable delivery aswell,but I felt the food was overpriced with regards too portion sizes

Staff are friendly. Food delivered very hot and food is very delicious.

I order from here all the time, one the best kebabs in the area. Fresh food and good portion sizes. Friendly and helpful staff

I give 4 stars as in the evening its got proper grill on and it's nice and fresh.....during a lunchtime time not always is as fresh as u would want.

Average expensive food we have come to expect in Dagenham but three members of staff, not one wareing a facemask and one handling the money then the food with his hands won't be going back the pandemic is not over and won't be going back to them when it is.

Literally the best doner kebab in London for the price. The quality in the lamb doner is amazing. The lamb shish and mix doner is also great. I always get takeaway from here once a week
