Algarve Deli Ltd in Barnet

I was ignored when I greeted the lady behind the counter. Felt uncomfortable in there after. Mostly pork and seafood products in the Deli section (just an FYI there were no beef products, this could be normal but if you're looking for beef, this isn't the place).

Lovely cafe and delicious with lots of Portuguese specialities. Eat in or take away very welcoming 😊

Racism and discrimination in this place at its best. Extremely rude lady behind counter, definitely not a symbol of portuguese hospitality, will for sure not return. Stay away...

Sorry no photos to post. A great small Portuguese grocery store/cafe. I love Portuguese cafes as I have grown up visiting a loy of them. Algarve deli is definitely has that warm homely feeling. Grab yourself some pastries to go along with your coffee and shop for some Portuguese essentials. Anyone who misses Portugal's everyday products, this is definitely one of the places to go.

Instant hostility from an old woman,who it was not clear if she worked there or not, as we walked through the door affixing our masks onto our faces. Then rudeness from the man behind the counter. He shamed me for my disability, telling me he would only serve me from outside the shop. Felt that the hostile treatment was more to do with homophobia than anything else.

Nice owners and good products. A business that is trying it's best to deliver. Like any other business can improve but this doesn't mean they don't have a high standard.

Excellent Portuguese deli - great spot for coffee and snacks.

Good spot for Expresso and Cakes. Been here a few times. A little taste of Portugal in NW London. Their espresso is brilliant, I also recommend their jam tarts. Friendly staff and prompt service.

If I could have given less I would. Really disappointed with the recent service after been a customer for over 17 years. To use a debit card I had to spend over 5 pound - really now days? come on. I was with my dog & they have a seating area outside with a window (thought would be able to order & sit out side with my dog) was told that they couldn't do this & told me to tie my dog to a tree, really? Where has the customer service gone? used to be so friendly, the coffee was watered down & the custard tart dry & hard. Will be using other places now you have lost a loyal customer.
