My go to place for a quick fix lunch! Very affordable and quality fish/sashimi always!

Pick up take away delayed by 45 minsBeen coming here occasionally for years to pick food up , ordered at 5 to pick up at 730 pm told it will be 30-45 mins late , staff didn’t want to discuss weren’t bothered at all , Guy on the till ( who was very nice but .. ) said they take as many orders as possible to create revenue and nothing they can do ‘ it’s economics ‘If you can get decent sushi elsewhere I would ! I won’t ever come back that’s for sure , it wasn’t even that busyShow less

Went in because of the hype about it, the girl at the counter with purple and blonde hair with european accent was rude, she kept asking for orders because I was there ad 7:45 pm on Saturday they close at 8 pm the while place was empty , I told her I couldn't see the menu on website so bear with me while I look at the menu. I love Japanese food and the culture but that's not smth I thought I would come across in a takeaway shop.. Maybe Atariya forgot to train their staff about customer service. Never going back. Try Eat Tokyo much better customer service!!

Best fish quality in London! Hands down, big statement but it doesn’t get better than that for quality it’s on par with Aqua, sticks & sushi etc but and it’s a big but that’s the only thing you’re getting here it’s a supermarket not a restaurant.

·

Went early for sashimi and sushi but the sitting area not open till 12noon… but they still let us order and sit there 11:45 xGood was okay~ value with that quality~Not a big store but clean~ 3 people working inside the sushi bar~

Have been going to Atari-ya for over 15 years and the quality of their sushi and selection of Japanese goods has never dropped in quality. I like their sushi grade salmon and tuna to make sushi and poke bowls at home, but equally ordering their sushi to go via their app is a winner.

·

They have an absolutrly delicious sushi and many Japanese products on the shelves. Be careful with their opening times as they are a bit peculiar but the sushi is absolutely worth it

·

Great selection of core Japanese food products. Staff are knowledgeable about products in the store and helped me find what I was looking for. Has a sushi counter too! Missing the 5th star as I feel it could do with a refit and prices don’t match the look of the store

When the store is stocked it’s good. But the last two times I visited, they had barely any stock on the shelves. I asked if they had something and was told it’s probably in the back, but they don’t have the time to put it out. I was the only customer int he store.Their freshly made sushi counter has very nice sushi, but the price is a little high at ~£5.60 a roll.

Simply the best sushi in Golders Green. Food is always fresh and there are generous portions of Wasabi and ginger. Also the food is made quick and delivers fast.
