Bento Bab in Barnet

Awesome food. Kimchi is fantastic!!! Come here for this. I had the bibimbap with chicken and extra spicy and it was tasty. Dumplings were very tasty. Kimchi fries were very good.

I ordered the sweet chilli ramen with kimchi and rice.The ramen was delicious. I ordered the kimchi and rice as a combo for (£2.40). I'd never tried it before and personally I didn't like the kimchi. But overall a pleasant experience. However I felt that £10 for the ramen may have been too much as the portion size was lacking.

Pretty good Korean food. Menu highlighted halal options and the staff were very friendly, unfortunately it was quite busy (to be fair it was Friday). Highly recommend the Korean Fried Chicken, and prawn dumplings.

The place was so cute seen on tiktok and had to go however, we asked before the portion sizes and was advised to order more only to realise that the originalAmount was more than enough, they also charge a service charge of 10%- we are students so that did impact the bill a bit. We also asked for the bill ManyTimes and we’re ignored for at least 15 mins, the service was not the best from the workers who didn’t ask us about our meal and instead kept walking past our table when we asked for the bill.

A very nice place to eat in, especially during the cold weather. The food amazing and the interior was pretty with a chilling atmosphere. I got the toppoki, k-ramen with katsu chicken and meat kimbab. Happy for the inclusion of a halal menu. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly. Definitely recommend going there.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Interior is nice however, the food was quite pricey compared to the portion.If you are going for something chilli just note that it won't be chilli it will be like sweet chilli. I am not a fan of sweet chilli. The chicken I ordered was supposed to be chilli however it was sweet chilli so did not like this dish. If it was clear that that dish would be sweet chilli then I wouldn't have ordered that dish.The first taste of all dishes was good but after taste didn't feel so good. I was very disappointed with the food. There was also very little options to choose from.I won't recommend this place. I would recommend Bari Bari instead as the portions are much suitable, value for money and you have a wide range of options.

Lovely Korean cuisine, an overall enjoyable experience with calm yet busy vibes and decent service; just wish the service was more alert and that we didn't have to call/wait so much when needed. Food was amazing, halal chicken and beef (ask again to make sure), thoroughly enjoyed the different flavours - also, the plum tea is out of this world. So good!

Beef and chicken -halal (confirmed by employee). Upon request you can see halal certification( i was told on the phone). Loads of seating but very close to each other. BBQ station opens at 1pm (to cook your food on the grill).They do serve alcohol and pork in the premises. (We were reassured that no cross contamination takes place).I think the beef was the best. The chicken bbq flavour excellent. But the rest were just not great. I would love it if they had honey garlic sauce for the chicken.Katsu chicken wasn’t nice. The Bao burgers were ok but quite small.Tried gimpab but honestly not a fan( not a sushi fan) very fishy taste( ordered chicken). Also the chicken dumplings were ok.

Really nice Korean food. We got a range of dishes, all were very tasty and well made. The staff are particularly friendly and definitely made it a better experience. Recommended highly

Really friendly and welcoming staff and the owner is a great guy. Really kind person.The food is brilliant. We had table BBQ right from the service to the quality of the meat and food was impeccable.The owner/ headchef complimented us with his homemade Kimchi which he also sells online and by far the best I have tasted.This is a must try!
