Bufi in Barnet

Take away pizza this evening was exceptionally bad. Looked like a child threw on a load of toppings on the pizza making it way too dense. Garlic pizza was burnt. Wrong sort of mushrooms used for pizza. Basically inedible. Won’t be ordering again.

The pizza was nice however the staff let this place down for us and because of that we wouldn’t return.Despite booking a table we were left standing at the door for 10 minutes waiting.We were then left sitting at the table for 20 minutes before being served.The table next to us who were seated after us were served, they even had the waitress/manager? sit at their table with them speaking Italian to take their order, but we were ignored until the nice gentleman acknowledged we had been forgotten.We attempted to make eye contact with the waitress to have her acknowledge us but she was walking around with her head down, so that was impossible.As we left at approx 9pm we watched people walk in and they were told they were no longer serving pizza, only pasta. Which seemed bizarre that a pizzeria would run out of pizza dough so early.

We loved everything about this place. The service was delightful, the food looked and tasted great. Our group of 7 had a variety of starters, then pizza and pasta dishes and a couple of desserts. The Linguine con Frutti di Mare was a standout. With wines, soft drinks and coffee / tea it came to £27 a head, service included. Definitely going back there!

Great place. Had a family lunch 3 x pizza and one tagliatelle. One of our party had gluten free pizza. Said it was best ever.

We’ve had take-away pizza from here several times and it’s always delicious. They use really high quality ingredients and the service is always really welcoming and friendly.

Fabulous local Italian restaurant. We went as a family of five, and all shared a lot more than the amazing Pizzas. Absolutely delicious Calamari, Meatballs, Aubergine Parmigiana, Seafood Tagliatelle + the Grilled Salmon....probably the best I've ever tasted, not sure how they make the skin so crispy and gorgeous, I usually pick it off + leave it! Lovely ambience and staff too. I can't wait to go back! 😀

I recently asked for a delivery from Bufi and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. It was very pricey(we paid £16 for 1 pizza) and much lower quality than any other place in East Finchley or nearby. It also took over an hour for the pizza to arrive even though we live across the road. We also asked for bruschettas and they arrived absolutely soaked and the bread was wet (I guess they were made 1h before) and olives weren’t great either.

Just moved into the neighborhood and decided to try out Bufi with my wife! What a great choice we made, :). We shared a pizza and the Funghi Tagliatelle. The pizza was very good but the Tagliatelle was to die for. Large portions ! Will be returning soon :). Seemed like that had a wide selection of pasta and pizza, as well as appetizers.

The bruschetta was seasoned nicely but the bread was rock hard.. can be improved. Parmigiana was my fav, my pizza was good. The calzone was more cheese than meat. The pear and almond cake was really good
