Absolutely fantastic food and service. Unassuming front but once inside, you will find the most authentic Chinese food in town. Flavours and dishes that reminded me of home and never thought I’d find in london, definitely recommend and worth the trip!Crowd favourites are always the salted egg fried chicken wings and crispy butter prawns, a must try!! Delicious and will have to go back!

Lovely food and friendly staff. Most restaurants nowadays add the 10% or 12.5% service charge in the bill but Chu Chin Chow hasn't and they let customers decide their tips. Since the food is so nice and the staff are lovely, we gave more than 12.5% tips

My family and I visited last week, as it was valentines day it was super busy but they managed to accommodate the three of us. We ordered 4 starters, calamari, ribs, satay and crispy lamb, all were great with the exception of the lamb. The three meat mains plus one veg and two sides were all delicious. I'm so glad we have found this place and would highly recommend.

This place is awesome! Great food and superb customer service. A clean family run restaurant. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent food, clean and the staff are very friendly!I visited this restaurant yesterday after receiving a recommendation and I was hugely impressed by the quality of the food. Arguably the best Chinese food I've ever had and the portion sizes are very generous. Prices are nice and reasonable too.It's a shame I don't live locally but I'll definitely be back in the future. Thanks for a great meal!

Exquisite food! Really top notch Chinese cuisine. The place is very unassuming, but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. That's good. But the food.. OMG THE FOOD. Quite simply the best I have had for a long time, without costing the earth, by any measure.

Very tasty and pricey too loves everything only dissapointment was I order king prawn curry got a.carton of curry onions little cause and couple prawns wasn't worth £30

Excellent Chinese food in Barnet. My family are a bit fussy when it comes to Chinese food and often end up going into central London to find the more authentic places but this place definitely punches about its weight given the location. I can't say all the dishes are excellent (but where is that the case), but from what we have got has always been above expectations and now this is a regular! Saving the trips into town!

We came to try the lunch time special. The lunch time special is £10.50 and I think you get 2 courses and tea included in the price. On the menu they add an extra £1 i now realise that is for the blue starred items on the menu where you have prawns and more expensive ingredients. They also showed ice cream, at the bottom of the menu so not sure if that was included but we so full after the 2 course we didn't enquire about the ice cream. We ordered a soup and fried prawns to start. I was impressed with the prawns they were tasty and came with a sweet and sour sauce. The hot and sour soup was good and had prawns and chicken and quite a few ingredients in it. For mains we ordered a laksa and some mixed meat crispy noodle. I was impressed with the ingredients and the quality of the dish. The waitress was lovely and friendly. She gave gave us extra plates and bowls so we could share our mains. She also topped up the tea with hot water when we finished the first pot. We will definitely do the lunch time special again, the waitress said it's available on the Saturday too so will come back on the weekend I'm sure. There was also a free car park close by, which made it easy go get to the restaurant too.

Delicious food and great service at a reasonable price (£21.50 min of 2 persons) where you can order as much as you can eat from a huge range of dishes. Really worthwhile as far as Chinese restaurants go.
