Nice local pub, however it is a little surprising to pay an entrance fee to a pub and it's a tad more expensive than other pubs for food. Food quality is alright. That being said you will at least find real Irish people at this pub, great for St Patrick's.

I don't do pubs that need door staff to control the client base, so can't comment further. Walked on to one that doesn't have one. Once past security I'm sure the place is good. Enjoy!

Great food. Outside area is very spacious and nice. You can also smoke outside with heaters on. Pricing is overall not bad and its a clean place. Bathrooms are nicely clean and the staff is lovely, will even crack some jokes with you.Consists of older people during the day but will be filled with younger adults and students during night times. Lovely place to have a tasty British meal,the food portions were enormous ,the service was lovely.

had the beef burger with chips and added onion rings, bacon and cheese. was a very sizeable portion, and i couldn’t finish it. the meal itself was superb. beautifully crisp chips on the outside and so fluffy they were almost creamy on the inside! partner had the roast chicken and wasn’t overly impressed. but the service was fast, environment was lovely and food was tasty. not really any parking though.

I have been here several times, on work functions, Christmas parties, for dinner or just watching the football or even the cricket. In some cases I have even turned it into the office as I fancied a change of scenery.The pub itself has that authentic pub feel with a modern interior. The atmosphere jas always been pleasant. Even when the football has been on it's still a great pub to go to and have dinner. The pub has a menu, with a wide variety of choice for vegetarians and vegans.The staff are super friendly, polite and accommodating.

Great set-up post covid with covered outside seating. In spite if it being a chilly day the outside heaters made you feel like it was inside. Amazing food to eat in or have as a take-away!

Absolutely brilliant!!! Amazing steaks cooked to perfection!!! Aaahhh!!!!Can't wait to go back! Attentive staff full of craic....The Guinness....say no more! Very reasonably priced too!Best I've come across in a long time..even before the lock down!A definite must try!!!!!
