Excellent fish and chips and lovely battered halloumi for this veggie! Really nice people. Big portions reasonably priced. Good local chippie.

Amazing. Impressed by the quality of grilled fish. Clean place and lovely staff. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Excellent. We get from there most Friday nights and the fish is beautifully cooked in a crispy batter (that survives the journey home). Chips are hot and delicious and portions extremely generous.

I asked for a simple grilled cod - I got a greasy piece of tasteless rubber fish with some salty rice residue ontop. Awful inedible and they wouldn’t refund me, suggested he made me another - thanks but NO thanks

We’ve dined in and taken away many times and the friendliness, service and quality of food is consistent. The cod is divine! The oil is always fresh. Yes, the cost is a little pricey ..but the location is Greater London and the portions are generous.My only feedback would be an option for French fries as well as chips; the chips are quite thick and could be a little crispier but that may be my personal opinion.Will always return.

Gone downhill. Used to be an okay place, but now you get your food home to find your mushy peas are freezing, items missing from the order, and stale chips. I literally reminded the guy 4 times about 3 items I never saw him pack, and he still missed 2 of them after sheepishly declaring it was already there, guy was clearly not cut out for the very simple job of compiling and charging for an order.Won’t be going here again.

Fish (Cod) was excellent, some other items not so good. We ordered 3 cod, phoned ahead, when we got it home it was two cod and one rock (we think). Could not go back as everyone was waiting. The chips, although plentiful were very pale and anaemic, clearly not cooked twice or enough. Mushy peas very good, Shame have always had great products in the past.

Disappointing again!! My wife grabbed a takeaway a couple yrs back and she didn't like it, it was flavourless. We decided to try it again as its the closest to our house. Big mistake.For £8 this is less than half the size of a standard large haddock at another establishment, I should have checked when I collected, I wouldn't have paid. The batter as well flavourless, I prefer a beer batter. Fish was oily and slightly undercooked.Go to Olympus in Finchley Central, its more then twice the size, same price and the batter has much more flavour.

I have been here 4 time and each time I am disappointed.Portion size I generous but fish can be greasy and slimey and seems undercooked.Cups of tea even have funny taste.I feel the atmosphere is also not very friendly.
