Five Bells in Barnet

Great pub, good selection of pub food, affordable price, nice and relaxing feeling. Staff is great!

Went there twice first time spent £80 ordered there biggest steak didn't have it so ordered next size down supposed to be 12 Oz came out looking like 4 Oz had sides as well left still hungry. Went bk 2nd time normal menu wasn't available was only offering steak and wings so very limited menu both times steak not cooked how I wanted no real effort very basic cooking spent £75 2nd time it was a Saturday lunch time it was dead in there. It use to be great in there great food all ways busy but not anymore I won't be going back.

We as a family with 3 young children booked a table for this evening, with a confirmation to show, were turned away from the five bells this and told that there was no reservation despite showing confirmation. I’m absolutely furious as this wasn’t just a reservation for adults, but for children. They didn’t even try to accommodate us.

Very nice food, good drinks, and a friendly atmosphere. The music was not too loud which is a plus, and the pub itself was very clean, and looks like it is a well maintained place. We'll come back for sure.

Excellent pub. Good food, good beer, lots of screens for sport, well-laid out and plenty of seating/standing space. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are fantastic. They actually care about you which is unheard of in London! I genuinely have not got a bad word to say about this place, which is why i keep coming back. Well done all and please do not change a thing!

A fantastic place with very attentive staff! Every time we visit the food is great, and all the staff is very kind. Food and drinks quality are very high while the prices are very low. Super place with a lots of TV to watch the games. We always happy to go back!

Christmas dinner 2021at the five bells, certainly worth the money. What a lovely 4 course meal the family had.The staff were very polite and knowledgeable on our orders. A big thumbs to Adele and her colleagues for a great time. Highly recommended

Mid-week dinner. It wasn’t busy at all when we arrived, 5-6 tables perhaps. Ordered the drinks and food easily with their app thumbs up.They served the drinks beers and glasses, for some reason we got ice in the glasses(????)Food was tasty and good sized portions at a good price.Had to ask for the missing onion rings, and had to ask twice for the dessert we ordered.The tray they served the drinks on stayed throughout our visit not sure why they didn’t collect it.Overheard the table next to us, a guy asked for a glass of water, and the waitress’ response was “I’m sorry I’m busy at the moment” Eventually he got his water though.Overall food was good and reasonable, the service was below average. Got served by 3 different waitresses one of them was good, the other two had an attitude, and had no idea what’s going on.And it wasn’t even busy.

Decent pub, drink weren't the most expensive I've seen. The atmosphere was nice and felt very warm and the staff were really friendly. I can't comment on the food but overall a nice place
