Got a take away. The customer service was good and was very accommodating but afraid that’s the only good I can say. We ordered;Mutton rolls - couldn’t find any muttonChicken biryani - rice was ok but the chicken was too salty! Could eat only half of itSea food stringhopper biryani - too soggyFish pattis - okHot butter cuttlefish - I mainly went to order this since it is my favourite. But this is a wet dish and more like a devilled dish than the popular HB cuttlefish, which is dry. But as a devilled dish, very good

The mutton lamprais was absolutely delicious and so were the shorteats we tasted - lamb samosas and mutton rolls. The meat in the lamprais was exceptionally good, it was a generous portion and was very flavourful. We appreciate their outstanding customer service and the willingness to go that extra mile to deliver. We highly recommend them.

Exceptional service! I ordered some food as a birthday present for my friend in Chichester who was craving good Sri Lankan Lamprais and shorteats. They went out of the way to help me and to ensure high quality and brilliant service. They are extremely accommodating and even went to the extent of arranging a birthday card for my friend, at my request. I would highly recommend Golden Platter!

Friendly eatery with fantastic tasty generous portions of Asian cuisine that will have you salivating for more. The chicken curry with pilau rice is delicately spiced and comes in very generously sized portions. Takeaway only but all means are well presented in carts and the owner is one of the friendliest people you could hope to meet. One of the best eateries that Borehamwood has to offer and tucked away in a small parade of shops. Highly recommended if looking for Asian cuisine.

Absolutely love this place! It’s so good we’ve been ordering once a week for a weekly night treat! The jaggery beef is incredibly delicious as too is the Butter Chicken. I especially love the Nutella hopper for a sweet dessert after too. Delicious Sri Lanken cuisine with lots of flavour and wonderful service. A real find!

The food was so tasty we were carried away to Sri Lanka. We will recommend it to all our family and friends. Only criticism I can give is it can reduce a bit of Salt on health grounds

Really tasty food with loads of vegan options! Ordered for delivery and they came bang on the time that was asked. The food was hot, fresh and incredibly flavoursome. I will definitely be ordering again from here!

I've ordered delivery a few times. Delivery within a nice time frame. The food has a home cooked feel to it which I appreciate. The hopper is also a very cool dish 👌
