Golders Hill Park Refreshment House in Barnet

Lovely park, especially in summer when all the flowers and plants in the landscaped section are in full bloom. Small zoo housing birds, lemurs, wallabys, donkeys and deer (amongst a few others I don't recall). Gr8 to go for a long walk in. Lovely pergola. Cosy cafe, moderate to pricey menu for a cafe. Good service.

Excellent ice cream you have guys! My favourite is pistachio. By the way: that cafe isn't responsible for the toilets, which are usually closed earlier than they should. We need to complain to the council, not to the cafe.

Quite good seating inside and out. Tends to build up a queue, but the queues move quite fast, so not so bad. Reasonably good range of food options for a cafe. Haven't seen any lactose or gluten free options though.

My second coffee was nice. On the first cup, the color of the lipstick didn't match my color. Only take away if I ever come back.

Lovely outside area to sit with family and friends and enjoy coffee and great cakes, which are easily big enough to share.

Very nice terrace. Cheap and tasty wine. Friendly staff. Beautiful place in Hampstead Heath park ☺️

I did not visit the Refreshment House, just pass by to get to the Hill Garden & Pergola and to use the toilet, which was behind Refreshment House. It did look very busy and that would indicate good food and at an affordable price.

Real chicken chunks in the children's nuggets. Great coffee. Safe Covid arrangements . Great toilets out back.
