Hadley House Restaurant and Bar in Barnet

Utterly terrible steak delivered over Uber eats. Poor quality meat, cut far to thin for ribeye, then cooked to grey (which is kind) when medium rare requested. Have severe doubts about the advertised ageing. Avoid

Had to wait over 2 hours for our meal. Staff friendly but they overbook the restaurant and couldn't cope. As this was the first event I hope with time it would improve. After event the DJ and music was very good . I would definitely go back for that but not for eating there.

We went to Hadley House today for a meal. The prawn linguine was delicious and I had Almond and Pistachio cake for dessert it was wonderful.Certainly well worth giving a try.

disappointed to say the least.if it was busy i would understand the slow service , however with only one other table being used i didn't quite get why it took 20 mins for a menu to even be put on the table.we waited so very long for food that didn't even taste that nice..even had to ask for the bill twice as we just wanted to get out.won't be returning.

Every time my girlfriend and I go to Haddly House the staff treat us with a warm welcoming and face extremely cared and we receive very good service. Their food are amazing and we recommend you to try when you go there. Renato and Erion are so kind and caring. Absolutely recommend this place to try and be their regular customer like us!

Wonderful lamb shank Sunday dinner - so good: best I've had in a year. Music 😌 relaxing - service warm and hospitable. Great place to eat - lovely hosts. Get over there folks !!

What a great evening. I went to the Hadley House with my husband; sister and brother-in-law for a meal together before Christmas. We not only got a great meal, but friendly service and fantastic music to dance to as well! What a bonus! Thank you to all the lovely staff. We had a fantastic evening. xx

The staff was nice.The margarita pizza was over salted.It's definitely not fresh.Not a good idea to have a table that's next to the disabled toilet.You can hear people flushing while eating.

Reserved a table during eat out to help out in advance but still had to wait 30 minutes for a table because staff were not checking reservation times on arrival but purely seating the next party in the queue. When we finally sat down, the manager Elton did try to make up for the delay by ensuring that we weren’t waiting too long for the food which was appreciated. I had the fish and chips which was underwhelming at best and had it not been for the 50% off, I would not be inclined to eat here again. The manager asked us at the end of the meal if we enjoyed the food and I told him about my disappointment that the peas weren’t in fact mushy peas which was specified in the menu, but rather dry petit poi peas partially crushed with a fork! The manager didn’t really empathise and said that these were mushy peas which was surprising to say the least. Their website states the manager has worked in Gordon Ramsey’s restaurants to hone his craft. Well, I dread to think what colourful language Gordon would use if he found out one of his ex-employees was passing this off as ‘mushy peas’!Ironically, we also spoke to another member of staff prior to speaking with the manager, a lady, whom agreed with us and chuckled that these weren’t really mushy peas, so it was a shame that the manager continued to take full payment, dismissed a customer’s genuine concerns and didn’t empathise or really try to rectify the situation in anyway. I didn’t give this one star because as previous reviews have pointed out the interior design is very good and I can imagine it being a great place to have a party or casual drinks.

Toni and his team are fantastic. We used the private room upstairs for a private function. The personalised menu was fantastic! Everyone loved the food - tasted great and very healthy portions! The service was genuinely 5 star, prompt and professional. The team struck the right balance of being on hand to wait, but leaving us to it to enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend and will be back to visit!
