Last time I visted was over 10 yrs ago and remember it then as it had such great food. This place has quality, fantastic food and staff are friendly, warm and nice smiles. They also accomodated extra items etc on dishes. Lovely thick, authentic tomato sauce on pasta (not too much oil), incredible chips and too much cheese on pizzas and fully loaded Bruschetta. Its much better than 80% of Italian restaurants in London - and I have been to a fair few! Hats off to the chef (s) and cant wait to eat there again!

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who grew up in Edgware so thought we'd try it after a long day out in London. Friendly and welcoming staff, great service and the food was beautiful from the peppers and goats cheese starter all the way through to the tiramisu for dessert. We'll definitely go back if we stay nearby again 👍

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was four years old, back when it was still named Lartista. The staff had always been so friendly and really treated us like family. When the name was changed to Mascalzone, I still loved the place with all my heart. I was obsessed with the yellow Fiat 500 on one wall and Italian flag bearing Vespa on the other. I remember the walls tiled with old Italian wine crates and posters of different kinds of pasta...Then the restaurant was taken over by a new owner and renovated. The tiled interior resembles a bathroom or toilet. The staff, whilst friendly and kind, are just not the same (though they are different to those we knew for years) but most importantly, the food is not nearly as good as it once was. Truly a shame. Also I miss the Fiat. And the Vespa.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in my area. Serving was always perfect, food was always fresh and portions where good when served in.But my last experience when I've ordered via Uber Eats wasn't good at all. The food arrived cold because of multiple drops that the driver had to make,the calamari portion was half the size they serve in ,dry and cold. The garlic bread arrived cold as well and the ricotta chese inside the raviolli was hard to chew.I won't order thru Uber Eats again.

Delicious food, especially the Festa del Bosco- baked mushrooms, tomatoes & cheese. 👌 Was a busy evening however our party received quick service with a smile…. Will definitely be going here again soon.

Mascalzone is a must . You don't feel like a customer but as a guest in a family meal time. The service is excellent, I was even given a quick lesson in Italian as my failed attempts to order was quite frankly embarrassing.So the food.I had a tagliatelle with mushrooms one nightAnd a vegetarian risotto two days later. My wife had chicken and mushroom risotto. We couldn't fault it. Absolutely stunning.It's a strange world where we had to visit London to fall in love with Italy again.On our next visit to Edgware we'll definitely call again.Highly recommended.
