Pandaberry Caribbean Jerk Centre in Barnet

I got ripped off! I ordered one jerk chicken meal and one bbq chicken meal that cost £8:50 each and 2 festival dumplings which cost 1.50 each and 2 drinks that cost £2 each so the total should be £24 but the lady charged me £30. I was a bit taken back and did not ask questions and thought I’ll go home and check. Apart from that the festival dumplings were rank as I was gagging. They tasted off. The lady was very friendly but she overcharged me. I will NOT GO AGAIN as I feel like I’ve been stolen from, not to mention the out of date dumplings!

The food is very expensive for a small portion and the fish escovitch I ordered was £16 with not even a side accompanying it. The place had no music playing and the paper napkins on the table were slightly damp for some reason and I felt like eating in a long abandoned old restaurant. The bill came with a 10% service charge and with higher prices than on the menu. They sneakingly overcharged us this way. We were the only customers that evening and felt even sorry so didn't say anything but we won't be going back again. Two mains, one side, two 500ml water bottles for £39....we could do a lot better in the area.

Auntie panda keeps you happy with delicious food and the best service would definitely go back and have another round of food. Would definitely recommend.

I came here to find some Callaloo that I could cook at home, and although they don't have the grocery store anymore the lady in there was so friendly and sold me some from their own supply.Ordered their Callaloo with Coconut Cream whilst I was there and it was so good. Tasty, hot and creamy and vegan!10/10.

Heart warming, amazing food! The lady who runs the restaurant recommended a few dishes that we absolutely loved. Easily one of the best Jamaican food I have eaten in London. Definitely recommend a visit!

Awful service. Overpriced for what it is. Paid around £7 for a glass of punch, supposed to be made of fresh fruit, especially for that price - I am confident they mixed Rubicon brand concentrated 'juice-drinks' and tried to pass it off as fresh fruit punch. Do not order the calaloo - it's a rip off and tastes of nothing but coconut, it sits under the glass counted all day then they put a small bowl of it in the microwave to warm it up for you and charge £6. Also restaurant is badly ventilated. Some of the dishes are more than decent in taste but again, portions are awful for the price. If youre going to over charge at least treat people with respect; Rude waitress with a hostile demeanour. The owner should rethink who is in their employ. We will never eat here again.

Such a nice place to get food! A warm and nice interior, friendly staff and DELICIOUS food. Got the curry chicken and it did not disappoint! Portions are good- a regular will fill you up nicely. Will be here again for sure!

My oxtail was delicious! Warm and friendly environment.Also has a function room for up to 20 people. Well worth the Christmas party/trip.You will get to meet Panda too!I will be going again 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Incredible aroma of cooked spices and meats as you enter. Amazing hospitality. Five stars just for the person who hosted us.My wife and I ordered the Jerk chicken and goat curry - both amazing. Happy with the quantity and taste. Sadly I forgot to take picture.I also order the plantain as a side order - it was alright - quite small, wish the portion size was bigger.

Believe the ratings, this place is freakin awesome. The jerk chicken is so flavourful, the curry goat is wonderful, and you can't ask for much more here. Everything has the perfect balance between spice and flavour, with a dash of awesomeness. Takeaway prices are quite a bit cheaper (a few £ per meal), so keep that in mind if you are eating in.
