Reggae Spice in Barnet

Best carribean I've had in a long while and I travel from far to come and will only use Reggee Spice.. paying for what you get amazing food

Brought a salt fish patty from there yesterday, my son has been up all night with food poisoning. The salt fish is mixed with something else!! They have a friendly young man working there now but sadly I will not be buying from there again.

The curry goat was 10/10 and I only like my home cooked curry goat, but this one I would leave my house for......tantalising.

Thank you, really enjoyed this Carribian experience. I liked the soup the most, nice potatoes, beef, beans, good for cold weather. I went there each time for my break last 2 days.

I don't mind waiting ages if the food is good. My order was mixed up.. which would have been fine if it looked nice and tasted nice. I had to take it back it was horrible. I asked the women behind the desk what had I had been given in error. I couldn't believe it when I was told it was jerk chicken. Who laces chicken in ketchup and then call it jerk. Who ever did that don't do it again please. Its an embarrassing.

We were very pleased with our order. Didn't take long to prepare when I collected it. Good sized portions and all the meals were delicious. We bought the rum cake and it was one of the best I have tried, moist, full of flavour and a strong rum cake. First I thought the prices were expensive compared to other places but when I tasted the food - it was definitely worth the money.

I am only leaving a 1 star review because I cannot leave 0 stars. Went to this place today and was very disappointed. Ordered a large curry got rice & peas for collection. I got curry bone, a few loose pieces of meat. They was even shy with the sauce. Inedible food as it was nothing but bones. On top of that they forgot my portion of plantain and the food was microwaved warm (you can taste the staleness in the rice). On top of that the girl behind the till has an attitude problem. No welcome or thank you but instead threw my change at me on the way out. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I only ever get the sea bottom (fish) soup from here on a friday. And it is so fresh and tasty. It has a nice variety of vegetables and seasfood in it and the amount of pepper and seasoning is always right.I recommend calling ahead before visiting, as it can finish quite quickly once cooked.
