Great place. Fabulous chicken Korma sauce ... best in area. Great food and proprietor - friendly polite and very helpful to disabled lady who ordered late late. I'm recommending to everyone.

Although the service could be better (the staff always seem a bit grumpy) the food is unbeatable, my goto curry house.

Me and my wife use to travel 100 miles to eat here as our first visit what mind blowing good. But our last visit was one of the worst tbh bland food almost sAn hour wait. charged for complimentary dips that we didnt even ask for and have been free all other times we been . £5 for one glass of bottled cheap coke when questioning the drink prices met with aggressive staff. So payed and left with no thank u come back soon ..think were look more local from now on. Lets hope they were having a off day as i use to love this place that gave us good memories.

Dined in the restaurant and honestly it was the best and most filling Indian I've ever eaten. The food was so rich in flavour you didn't need an enormous portion - plus the mint sauce was the best I've ever tasted. Would 100% recommend to a friend and go again

I received my order, was missing rice from the order, received salad in a plastic bag( like really?). The chicken tikka was colts, we ordered two portion of mixer grilled and they were not some. it was First and definitely last time that I’m ordering here

We used to visit the Shapla nearly every Saturday for a long time. The food was always excellent and great value. Service from the manager and his staff was always really friendly. I hope the manager and staff are keeping well and we hope to see them soon.

Loved it. We got a table for when they opened and I think that was a good idea as they do get busy especially with the Monday-Wednesday gov discount. If you can book as couple of people were turned away.Food was delicious and the service I can't complain about it was great.
