A very nice, humble local pub making a lot of effort having regular fun events such as comedy, quizz and jazz nights. Interior decoration needs an update but is not too bad. The only bad aspect to me is the fact they clean the beer pipes every Thursday and you can definitely tell the beer is very soapy. It's a real shame because the beer selection is nice. Don't get me wrong, cleaning the system regularly is really good and important, a lot of places don't do it which is gross.Thursday nights are great with the events but beer can taste awful because of this, and this is not a good thing because you go to the pub for a nice 🍺. I wish they rince more in the cleaning process and this issue can be solved easily. Other than that this, the pub deserves a visit for locals.

Nice bar, have a small beer garden at the back, pool table behind the bar. Currently they are not serving food that's a down part . Otherwise it's a nice place to hang out.

Very disappointing. Place has gone down hill. Dirty toilet. Not even a handle on the grubby door. No heating. Open fire not lit. Kitchen closed down. Was supposed to be comedy night. The place is a joke.

Fantastic pub with traditional interior with a pool table.Staff are friendly and welcoming. Beers on tap are good quality.Hats off the the chef. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. And I've had a few in my day! Fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly.

Great pub, great size, great fun games in there, good beer selection. Amazing location for ore and post drinks after bang bang foodhall. Will come back.

Great to hear and see live band this evening. Setback that kitchen was closed this time round as normally serve good light snacks. However it was permitted to bring your own grub this time round. With food a definite 5 star. Get there early as parking limited in local streets.

Nice place, friendly staff, great beer and lovely atmosphere. The only thing is that the corner where we sat was a bit sad. Maybe some lights or some plants would cheer the corner up. Just saying. 😁

... booked xmas meal, place was freezing cold when we arrived and until we left. food nicely presented but quality was disappointing. obviously not fresh, even the berries for pavlova were from a 'bag'. and to top it all off, chef aggressive towards waiting staff, he thinks he is from "Hell's Kitchen", not a pleasant atmosphere, quite intense and if you can look closely on the ice cream, that is the fingertip of the chef who decided to pick up the ice cream with his bare hands. it is astonishing what you can see through an open plan kitchen. therefore, never again and 2 stars for the effort at least. that is generosity!
