The Griffin in Barnet

My local so expect bias. Nevertheless, a lovely friendly pub with a real fireplace, three big screens across various spaces and one of the biggest gardens in the area. Comes into its own in summer but the wood panelling, two sided bar and back rooflight makes it welcoming when it's chilly outside too. Food is okay, nothing special but great deals in the week mean you can have a cheap night too. Toilets small but always clean and staff always courteous. Long live the Griffin

Amazing roast dinner, beef was perfectly cooked as requested. This pub has a really friendly atmosphere with a great team of staff who are super welcoming, we love coming here!

My friends joined me there for a birthday dinner and we all had a tremendous time. The pub is clean and inviting and easy to feel relaxed in.. The food was good and the staff were intent on making sure we enjoyed our visit. We look forward to our next visit.

Great atmosphere. Shame the kitchen seems to either be shut or half of the things on the menu aren't available. How about bring back the sunday roast? Many moons ago you guys use to do it! Was amazing.

Small cosy pub. The kitchen was closed on our visit, but the staff were great. They have three big screens with sky sports and lots of boards games to play.

The garden is huge. Good vibes. Friendly staff.

Lovely local pub with a great garden space. Part of the outdoor space is covered and the rest is exposed to the elements, so there's something for everyone!They usually have resident food stalls, so keep an eye out on their socials. Managed to go when Jerk + Grind were there and had an amazing, hugeeeee Carribbean roast dinner.Would recommend for sure.They also show sport 👌🏿

They have a huge and lovely outside area, very quaint, colourful and enjoyable. I think pictures speak for themselves! 🌷Upon entering the pub we were given a very clear explanation of their covid and safety rules 🙂They’ve also implemented an online ordering system (to avoid physical menus) which we thought is pretty organised and the service was really fast.Oh they also have a huge screen for any football fans.Definitely would highly recommend this pub and would go there regularly if we lived nearby.
