Great atmosphere bar staff really welcoming and friendly. But the member of staff that shine out for me was George . He went above and beyond with my grandson and his allergies. Wish all people that worked with the public were as accommodating as he was . Thank you so much George we will definitely be visiting again soon x

Pretty lovely place, thorough doormen, nice and easy access from the bus station, good waiters and barmen. Served by lily Ben and had a lovely time. Would recommend.

We visited on the 16th of December. The food was good, and the place was clean, but what really got me was how nice and kind the staff working here was. In particular, I wish I could remember the name of the girl who dealt with my order! She has been so nice it brightened my day! So a well deserved 5-stars for the service 👏 👏👏

The cask beer is almost always too warm. It is generally accepted that about 10 degrees C is about ideal. It is always warmer here. Also the beer is rarely bright, although usually drinkable.When a Wetherspoons pub the quality of the beer here was always spot on.If Stonegate would stop cutting corners they would see an increase in cask beer sales.Rodney

Wonderful old school pub with decent food. If you download the app there's even a table service. The staff are always attentive and friendly.

Used to be a nice place before, now looks like you are trying to make changes but the new staff looks very inexperienced. Can’t go to the restroom as they will take your glasses full of drinks even if you ask them not to. Also the securities at the door are not professional, that’s fine they check on everyone coming in, but the way they do it, touching all over your body it’s too exaggerated and amateur.
