Dawat Indian Restaurant in Bexley

Five of us had a birthday meal here last night. The food was delicious and the service was great - very friendly waiters. It was my first visit and I’ll certainly be going back again.

I ordered the special chicken dish, which was nice but they gave me one naan bread and didn't include the popadom. Paid same money as i did two weeks ago, which came with two garlic naan's and now they tell me the price has gone up. Joke, last time ordering.

I usually get the fish naga, this time half the portion is missing. Barely any sauce compared to usual. I called the place just asking for a replace but they refuse. Never coming back

The food and service are excellent, all the usual favourites but the specials are well worth a try the flavours are excellent. The team are so friendly and professional I would highly recommend

Really good food great service . We arrived late and nothing was too much trouble. Give it a try, the do delivery in the area too. We had chicken tikka, samosas, peshwari naan, chicken jalfrezi, prawn Puri, lemon rice and mushroom rice. Poppadoms and chutneys. Everything was very good .

I LOVE this place. I've just moved out of the area but I had to leave a review. I've been a customer here for years and every meal is 5 star quality. Big portions, great taste, great service, the perfect Indian restaurant. Thanks for all the years of great food. Amanda at Wellan Close

To give a 1 star is an absolute compliment to them. Shocking service - will never use again. I ordered my food at 6.30 and was told the food would arrive within 45 mins to 1 hr. 2 hours later no food. I Called them 3 times to ask where it was and said it was on its way they said would call the driver to see where he was and would call me back. Of course no phone call. When the driver came he told me they gave him the wrong postcode. The food was cold and part of the order was missing. I Called the restauranet and asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was busy and would call me back. He didn't call and still hasn't called back - 24 hours later. Customer service appalling food cold I certainly will be looking for an alternative Indian takeaway and certainly won't be recommending them to anyone.

I wish I could’ve given them less than 1 star but it’s not an option. The food arrived 2 hours after we ordered it because the driver apparently couldn’t find the address but instead of calling us to ask for help drove around in circles. We had to call the restaurant and ask for the drivers number then call the driver and direct him here. We dished up all our food only to start eating and realise it was all rubbery and freezing cold. We called the restaurant to explain that we were disappointed that the food was cold only to have the extremely rude person on the other end talk over us and call us liars and say the food couldn’t be cold because they have hot boxes. At this point we asked to speak to the manager who then was even more rude and told us they wouldn’t do anything because we put the food on the plate and we should’ve checked the temperature in the box and told us he doesn’t care about our complaint and if we have a problem take it up with deliveroo
