Double Dragon Takeaway in Bexley

I try local Chinese takeouts as a hobby and this is honestly my fave place for taste! They're so fast with the food and so friendly. They even gave me free spring rolls to my suprise when I ordered online. How lovely! Would definitely recommend and come back for more.

Average at best. Best price in the area but there’s a reason for that. My food arrived in only 25kins but it wasn’t warm. No veggies or seasoning in the Singapore noodles. Chicken balls were not warm. Chips were hollow greasy shells of potato, I ordered as soon as they opened, I think I got a lot of last nights left overs.I’m sure I’ll find out in the morning!!Update: no improvement and I felt inclined to add a picture of the Singapore noodles, no colour = no flavour/no spice. Bland

Just picked up our order wow fantastic chinese food really good prices dumplings are so yummy and the vinegar and ginger sauce is so good deffo be coming back

Chicken was tough Plum sauce was so sugary and thick take it back and thay gave us the same sauce back. Bloody joke

Food was good, however they wouldn't take my £20 note nor do they take card payment! That's the only reason it's 4 stars!

YUK! The food was absolutely terrible the chicken curry was a thick paste sauce no taste must have a new chef gave the manager a chance to call us but never bothered we all feel so badly ill - It was very hard to find any chicken in the so called curry it was filled with to many large onions - The food was absolutely awful! Won’t order here again.

First time used spent thirty-two pounds and so nasty I wouldn't feed it to my dogs and I don't normally write or complain about anything, I know you take the good with the bad but there is normally something that is edible but not this time, misses said prawn crackers are nice ; but they were free avoid this place at all cost 32.00

First time trying this chinese tonight.. Food was so tasty and fresh! Couldn't fault any of it, Will definitely order again. Also got a nice surprise of Free spring rolls in with our chinese, which didn't expect. Very friendly polite staff on phone taking our order and delivering our chinese. Very Happy! Thank You!

After some 15 years of using the Double Dragon I will not be using this takeaway again.I ordered a takeaway at 9:20pm and after approx a hour and half with no sign of my delivery I descided to call to find out what was going on and the phone just rung with no answer. Then about another 30 minutes later I recieved a call from the delivery driver saying he could not find me and I am literally 5 minutes from them, so I tried to explain where my location was. After several phone calls with the delivery driver I established that he was not going to find me so I agreed to meet him at the Sainsburys store just up the road. I drove there and after waiting for 10 minutes the driver finally turned up. This was now 12:15am, I would have given up long before now but I was going away for several days the next day had not done a shop so takeaway was my only option. When i got back home with my food I opened it to find it was stone cold and inedible and smelling also of cigarette smoke. I descided upon my return from my holiday break to go to the double dragon to order another meal and also to complain about the fiasco I had with my previous order. Well all I got was an empty apology from the staff member who did not seem interested at all with the disgusting service I had recieved. Really they should have offered a refund or at least some kind of discount but obviously looking after a customer who has been their customer for some 15 years was not something they were concerned with. I have never had such a terrible experience before and have been informed by a friend that there food hygiene rating has also been reduced so I will now be finding an alternative and will never use this takeaway again. If I could have given them no stars I would have.

Hands down, the best Chinese takeaway in the south east, this food is cooked to perfection, my wife and myself are really lucky to have found a truly amazing takeaway. I must admit the shop is a little basic to look at, but the food is anything but. This is my second visit and I can assure you it will not be my last, the curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce is incredible, and the food fresh and plentiful and the price is very reasonable. A plea to the owners, please don’t change a thing, I don’t want to go searching for another Chinese, your takeaway is already perfect, and you can’t improve on perfection.
