Waited over 2 hours for our food which although tasted nice was cold . Mini pancake rolls with 1 pea in them . Had better from Iceland

Best chicken chow mein - LOADS of good sized pieces of chicken!

Ordered 9.45 from their website. Google says closes at 10.15. Accepted order and payment, when we went to collect at 10pm shutters were down! Thanks very much. Better get a refund when they open up the next day! Wouldnt mind but its the 2nd time we have ordered from here, the first time they mucked up my delivery

Took over 2 hours, when food came the mini vegetable spring rolls had pretty much nothing in them and the chicken balls ( £7.50 can only get a portion of 10 ) were literally dripping in oil i squeezed them a little and oil was pouring out. Also the sweet and sour sauce wasn't nice at all and my crispy chilli chicken was like chewing on a tyre. will no to using again.

Overall a great Chinese takeaway! Ordered from here many times over the past few years and the the food has been consistently great apart from once. Crispy shredded beef is always crispy and tasty and the special fried rice and the salt and pepper ribs are always on point. Compared to other takeaways in the area this place is a winner. 5 stars.

Great food, good menu and fair price. Delivery is also in quick time which is great and they are always very friendly. Been getting take away from them for about 3 years now and I can't say I've ever thought about getting my Chinese from anyone else so it must be good!

Never had a problem with The Golden Star. Had a wonderful meal last Saturday (07/11/20). Generous portions and speedy delivery at a very good price.

0* DO NOT RISK ORDERING FROM!!!I ordered dinner tonight for my family this evening from golden star and found that all of the sweet & sour chicken balls where under cooked. When I called the shop they told me that I was wrong and that it is normal for the chicken to be pink and undercooked and argued with me that it was safe for a 18 month year old to eat! Absolutely disgusting attitude from the shop workers. I will never order from again!!
