Best Turkish restaurant in south London hands down. Amazing food portions very well seasoned. The mixed grill for 2-3 people feeds a hungry family of 4 well. Great service by Baris - very kind and accommodating. Recommend this restaurant everyone

Wonderful service, excellent quality food and a fab atmosphere. Great place for all ages.... starters are so good and the mixed grill platter is always a hit with the whole family.

Superb! Great food ( especially the mixed grill), and a very warm, cosy, welcoming service from friendly staff. I have been here with my wife and family before several times and certainly will return in the future. One of my many favourite restaurants not only in my local Sidcup but in the whole of London and the South - East. Monday 30/5/22. Revisited the HAYAT TURKISH RESTAURANT with my wife & youngest Goddaughter. The decor, layout, and refurbishment totally uplifted and further improved ...as with the cosy outside seating under cover. So attractive, modern, spacious, and clean inside. Staff & owner the very best in hospitality 👍, the food absolutely delicious...memorable! We are very lucky to have this top restaurant in Blackfen, Sidcup. One of my favourite restaurants! Thanks for looking after us, we enjoyed the experience. The Resturant is clean and the staff is nice. Music and environment too!! Food was amazing as well, it came hot and tasty, portions were ok considering the price. The reasons why I am giving 4 stars:1) the Turkish tea didn’t taste of Turkish at all, it was more a normal Earl grey with added hot water.2) how can you not have baklava??? My mumCame from Italy with the desire of eating a nice Turkish meal and baklava at the end but we had no luck!Overall a 4 stars ⭐️

Amazing food, great portions size, everything freshly cooked (full of flavour!) - chicken cooked to perfection, beautiful halloumi fries!Friendly & polite staff! I think we found our local favourite for dining out! 🎯

Delicious food and generous portions! Highly recommend the Sigara Borek starter (could easily eat two portions!). Service was a little slow but wouldn’t stop me from returning

Nice place easy to park in front of the store (week days) free after 6pm. I got cold meze share platter and a vegetarian moussaka. Really good food. Price/quality ratio is really good. Had also a nice Turkish wine. Two people 85£.

Unfortunately, they have halved the portion sizes (lamb shish) but yet hiked the prices up of the food. I understand that the cost of everything is going up, and more than happy to pay extra but not for the size or lack of the meat size now. They have also scrapped the complimentary bread at the start of the meal, which is a shame. Really loved this restaurant and it was our favourite Turkish. The food is outstanding and staff are also great. It is with regret that we won’t be going back there. You can get a lamb shish for 25% less of the price and the same portion!Hayat you will be missed but please do take on this review!

Had the best meze meal ive ever tasted here... " We popped in on the off chance for a meal and found a gem of a place for top quality dining out.Restaurant was clean modern and stylish, staff smart and well groomed and the food was outstanding ... 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ From me ... I took a few pics of the food ..Starter was prawn and feta in a spicy sauce #stunning ... we had the most amazing bread and dips and the biggest calamari ive ever seen or tasted ...#awesome ... Please go if you like turkish cuisine this place ticks ALL THE BOXES 🔥❤🔥..

Excellent takeaway service in current climate... Mixed grill platter is amazing!!........Brilliant local restaurant serving up some tasty dishes. Tender and delicious meats .Tried the mixed grill which was perfectly cooked and excellent value for money. Good selection of wines and bottled beers. Restaurant is clean, with nice decor and some seating booths at the rear. Staff friendly, attentive and professional. Fairly priced menu.Parking relatively easy.
