Hill Top Tap in Bexley

First time here and pleasantly surprised.Food served till late in the week which was fantastic considering the kitchen down the road at the Horse & Groom shuts at 8pm!!Food good here too and plenty of deals on. Love the 2-4-1 cocktails. Loads of screens and seating booths for sports.Staff friendly and helpful, public car parking very close.We had 2 loaded burgers & chips, 1 pizza, 1 side, 1kg of wing, 2 cocktails and a large glass of wine all for £70 which I thought was a decent price.

Absolutely horrible service.The pub was 3/4 empty. I went to the bar to order my food and drink and the bartender said it would take and hour and a half to be served. So I didn’t order any food because who wants to wait that long on a weeknight in a nearly empty pub.Then I tried to order a cocktail off the menu and the bartender said that they don’t have that drink. I asked what they did have and he listed 5 cocktails that were available (there are dozens on the menu) none of which I wanted so I ordered a cider instead.Then other people at my table returned with cocktails of their choice that weren’t on this bartenders list of available drinks.So I went to the bar and asked for the manager and the guy that initially served me said that he was the manager (which I didn’t exactly believe given his previous unwillingness to actually serve me as a client). When I told him that he didn’t allow me to order a drink of my choice and misled me in believing that only 5 cocktails were available when other bartenders were serving other patrons the drinks of their choice he denied everything and said that told me the most popular drinks but that there were more. He basically changed his story. Then when I said I didn’t believe him he refused to serve me a drink at all.The owners should know that the people that are representing themselves as management are refusing service (our whole table came for dinner but then didn’t order when he gave a ridiculous serve time), dissuading clients from ordering the most profitable drinks and then misrepresenting the truth.Horrible service, horrible management… no wonder the place is empty on the night of an England football game.

Staff are amazing and attentive, nothing is ever too much for these guys! Handled a busy football night amazingly with only a handful of staff.Always showing good sport and the food is always fab quality! Well done Team HTT

I'm a bit old for places like this but I liked it. A couple of drinks here before a restaurant meal across the road to celebrate a birthday. A little on the pricey side but atmosphere doesn't come cheap. Prompt bar service and friendly door staff.Music (that I liked!) and IPA in the drinks range even if it was only one. Pool table.If I was closer, I might use it a little more often.

I wouldn't have gone in there as I don't like sports bars much and i dont like to be surrounded by televisions but we couldn't find anything else that was open at 9pm on a Monday night.to be fair we disnt look that hard and it was a spontaneous trip to the boozer so the 'Hill top tap' it was.The pub itself was alright, only one draught beer on but plenty of other beers to choose from, lots of cider and perry and they were still doing food up to 10pm. I didnt eat, i just had a Doombar, boring but tasted well looked after and at a good temperature.Staff were nice, it was busy and the round was cheap.Its a thumbs up from me

What a fantastic pub, great cocktails and really yummy grub. Ricky and Aaron were really amazing, despite being super busy during the lunch they really delivered. Next time we are in London we will defo come in

The atmosphere of the pub was truly amazing. I loved the food and drinks even though the place was really busy during the lunch time. Despite this the staff did their best and served everything in a very short amount of time. I’ll definitely visit again, I highly recommend.

Excellent service, great value and tasty cocktails, Dan,Craig and Ricky all served us in a friendly and timely manner. Could not fault it one bit, Kirsty does the most amazing fish and chips. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Absolutely fantastic in my opinion, fine balance between pub and restraunt. Really nice, was looking for a roast, wanted decent pub grub and the staff down here really sorted me out, not too much not too little. Will definitely come back, the kitchen staff have left me intrigued. Would certainly recommend! Lovely and kind bar staff and reasonably priced. Make sure you visit!
