Holiday Inn London-Bexley in Bexley

The reception, restaurant and areas off the main entrance are tidy and well looked after. The rooms however are extremely tired. To make matters worse, the fixtures and fittings in the bathroom were appalling. Crack in the side of the bath, bath mixer half hanging off the wall, a shower that had no oomph at all and a toilet that only flushed when it wanted to. This takes nothing away from the staff who are excellent at their jobs.

Stayed here most of 2020 during the first lockdown. The staff made us feel like we were part of the furniture. Really friendly and done everything they can to help up… However…Be aware, we had our van broke into a couple of times. Do not leave anything expensive in your car/van.

The staff were great and so helpful. If you ever think youngsters don't work hard these days, you should meet the staff here . The cheeriness of them after working such long hours is wonderful.The hotel is a little tired (carpets/ bathrooms etc) but it was a nice place to stay and the restaurant team were absolutely great getting a gluten free breakfast sorted out for one of our party.

Best thing about the place is the breakfast, good selection and replenished often so nice and fresh, all downhill from there though!Bathrooms need updating as old and tired with the dreaded "shower curtains"😱 that stick to you 🤢🤮!The sofa bed is as hard as a brick!Door key card had be reset as kept getting locked out of our room!On checkout tried to charge me more than the price that we booked at, so was not impressed!However, another good point was when my husband left his glasses they were sent onto us promptly with no problems, so thanks for that, much appreciated 👍
