After grabbing my lovely coffee I had to exit sharpish, the temptation to indulge in a superb range of sweets and savoury goods is strong in this one,Very busy here but staff make short work of the orders, lovely bunch

I ordered a 40th Birthday cake for my son 3 days before the Birthday and J Ayre still took my order and produced a wonderful chocolate cake with a design of Harlequins colours and Rugby balls on top. Everyone loved this gorgeous moist chocolate cake that was the best we ever tasted Thank you so very much J Ayre. X

Bought a couple of cup cakes and square cakes with 100's and thousands on them, my granddaughter absolutely loved them. Highly recommended, staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Large variety and exceptionally clean

Absolutely disgusted, I have been using Ayres for years, just had a colleage bring back a cheese salad french stick and this is what I got for the best part of £4 and they had only buttered 1 side, shameful

Wonderful bread cakes & pastries. Please train your younger staff better & get them to put a smile on their face. Nothing worse than being served by a stroppy teen who really does'nt want to be there. Thank heavens for the more experienced ladies & their customer service. The 3 star is because of the abysmal service by a younger employee.

I bought a custom-made chocolate birthday cake from here and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are really friendly and clearly care about their cake designs. They made sure they understood exactly what I wanted and carried out the design perfectly. My friend also had a birthday cake made here a few weeks ago and that was just as good. Their doughnuts are also really yummy. There's often a queue of people out of the door of the bakery which is testament to the quality of their food.
