Jumbo Chinese in Bexley

First time of using jumbo, well jumbo by name jumbo by portion size!! Recommend this take away, they delivered on time, not expensive and food was lovely, they didn’t have something on the menu that I wanted but were happy to make it up for me. Thanks jumbo I’ll be back.

Have been loyal customer but bad tonight chicken balls burnt to dust and dry. Kids not impressed

Great tasting food, so much flavour and generous portion sizes! Lots of different vegetarian/ vegan options and arrived very quickly. We have found our new regular local Chinese takeaway! Thank you

We had a birthday celebration and decided to try this takeaway. Wow, to our amazement, the food is simply delicious and delivered on time. The crispy duck and the curry is awesome !!! Thanks 😊

Disgusting! Would have put zero starsthe food was ok, dont coming this place. i Order the mushroom beef too much water. also on the top is quite a lot oill .guys dont order stuff from here. the price is bit to Expensive

Order arrived 20 minutes late. The whole meal was inedible. It appeared to have been cooked and then reheated! Every dish was over cooked and dry. We had to throw the order in the bin! We phoned to express our disappointment only to be told they weren’t worried! They would just tell the chef!!! No concern at all. Will not be using again although we have used Jumbo for many years.

Great birthday treat......or not! Called to ask if they could cater for me as I do not eat seafood or egg. Yes! No problem! They said. Ordered 12 dishes, Food arrived and it was all full of egg, found a prawn, found a string of chicken. Called up a bit upset that they had been so careless and also that a few of the dishes tasted really, incredibly bad! The response? Ahh egg and seafood and chicken must have been a mistake and the other dishes are meant to taste like that! Makes you worry about the hygiene when tjere are bits of everything in vegetarian dishes!Originally refused any refund and not even an apology, tried to explain if i had an allergy I could have died- egg and seafood are serious. Eventually agreed to refund £9, ruined our birthday meal - worst takeaway I have ever had hands down! Customer service is disgusting, will never use again!

Ordered food on Friday evening. Usually order duck fried rice along with spare ribs and a few other things. Duck fried rice is usually the highlight of the order on the last 4 years we have Ben ordering from Jumbo. Food was delivered on time via Just eats but was so disgusting. Duck fried rice was smothered in soy sauce and very salty- rice looked old and re- heated. I had asks for extra spicy but none in the rice and about 8 pieces of duck in his rice. House special fried rice was also disgusting and saturated with salt. I called to complain to ask if they had changed chefs or management and they initially said no, I then called back and asked again and they admitted that they had changed management and chefs. Food ended up in the bin as was so vile. Highlight of the order were the prawn crackers. They need to get the old chef back!
