Excellent attention to detail as a place, fantastic servers and Amy is a particular delight, so lovely & kind! Truly appreciate such diligent staff - 5 stars guaranteed!

The atmosphere was lovely and reasonably price. However my burger turned up pink and squidgy almost like. When questioned I was assured it’s fine that’s the way it’s cooked. Nearly an hour after I left, I started being violently sick with a temperature and chills. Yep I had food poisoning!Not had any response from place after complaining

Drinks are phenomenal. Haven't tried the food. But the service is bar none! Absolutely wonderful people. Really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing bottomless brunch. All the staff are super friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food and drink is excellent and great value for money.

Stated as a bar and kitchen venue which is children and dog friendly. But has to be flagged that this is more pub than kitchen. The drinks are good, and is great for a fun girls evening out - especially for such a quiet village. Plenty of space, and clean floors. However, thats as far as it goes. Dont go in with expectations of good pub food. The food menu is limited and is slow to be delivered. They have good ingredients, but its a shame the kitchen doesnt care for the cooking. Expect your meal to come out resembling an overcooked boot. Suggest you stick with the snacks like fries and brunch menu and steer away from the sad rubberised mains.

I’ve not eaten in - but just had burgers and halloumi fries via Deliveroo. Absolutely delicious. Generous portions, outstanding burgers, crispy perfectly cooked chips and big fat, lovely, halloumi fries (ordered as a greedy indulgence between us 🙄) Don’t usually feel moved to comment but - really - it is worth a mention!

Went on Sunday for our first visit and to be fair we heard good things it’s just a shame it didn’t live up to it . I ordered the burger and the wife ordered the fish. To say it was well done is an understatement and the Fish was covered in salt to the extent it had to be scraped off before attempting to eat it .I’m sorry to say we won’t be rushing back

Fantastic place, firstly we were in, sat and being served our drinks within 5 minutes, even though it’s a very busy Friday night.The person that served us was incredibly friendly, and although staff checked up on us a few times it never felt forced or like they were hovering. The food was served quickly, and they actually asked if we were ready for our mains instead of just giving them to us. The food was also incredibly tasty, and really well prepared.Then the cherry on top was the inclusivity of them, I am a nonbinary person and it’s very difficult to find places that will allow me to use a gender neutral toilet. However when I asked there was no questions about it, they simply got the key and let me use it.We will 100% be coming back again

Lovely evening last night at the Tanyard. Really lovely staff. Great food and little touches of Birthday surprises. We will be back as soon as we can. We'll done to everyone who was working last night.
