Great little place for a tea/coffee and a bit to eat whether it be a cake or a sandwich very well priced and great option of being able to eat outside

The coffee is delicious here. Much better taste than coffee shops around. Also The Velvet Cake never disappointed me here in the Muffin Break.

Last weekTuesday I was thereI had a delicious cake and coffeeOne Turkish lady serviced me,she was very friendly and polite, also she was very pozitive and smileface.I really liked the service by her.I have pointed that other customers were happy with her friendly attitude.in my opinion the personnel changes the places atmosphere.

I like their muffins but I would prefer a wider selection of different types. The atmosphere in the place is nice but the chatting from the kitchen is louder than chatting of guests.

Got excited and that went away quickly, I ordered a biscoff duffin and she even repeated the order back to me "the biscoff? Yes?" And i replied yes back, to then open my duffin at home and realized she's given me a Nutella one (I absolutely HATE Nutella) that was my money down the drain, time to hire people with ABIT of brains? Reading all feedbacks and I can tell that this is not a first time mistake (mistakes can definitely happen) but to see that it's a major issue and it's not being dealt with ....wow..

As stated in the many reviews below, the staff are very unwelcoming and rude. I was concerned about the ingredients in the gluten free muffin as there was no label or description on it apart from 'gluten-free' (I'll be reporting them to the food trading standards for this as it's against the law to not state allergens). After I asked whether there was dairy in it the lady at the till barked 'of course there is'. How would I have known this ?Luckily there's a Starbucks and Cafe Nero about a 60 second walk, they're so friendly there. Don't waste your money with these lot, they won't appreciate you!

Disgusting espresso really expensive, the espresso cup looks bigger than it is and it’s expensive for no reason and bad staff service. this lady was arguing with me when I complained she and her colleague began talking about us rudely and I overheard. My friend ordered a vanilla milkshake but upon tasting it she realised it was banana milkshake! And she ordered their red velvet cake and it was absolutely disgusting! It tasted dry and left a horrible after taste. very rude service!

Absolutely terrible experience. Myself my mum and my younger autistic sister are all of mixed heritage and we was racially abused by this couple in muffin break bexleyheath. All the staff done was move us table as if we was the problem and didn’t even ask the racist couple to leave. We was the only people (with the exception of two staff members) of an ethnic background and was treated very poorly. My aunt even contacted the cafe by phone on behalf of my mum who was deeply distressed and a staff member called raj had the audacity to hang up the phone on her. As I mentioned before my sister is autistic and this situation also distressed her to the point where she didn’t want to even finish her meal, she is only 7. I would also like to add that the man had a very bad temper and even raised from his seat which put my family in fear that he was going to physically abuse us also. We was also told to “ignore” them.

They got good range of bakery items. The muffins were almost finished by noon. From cake items I loved the mud cake. Normally I prefer the coffee cake but not this one is my favourite here, which tasted good as well though. The second choice from here would be the chocolate fudge which stands out a lot from other bakery, it is proportionately bigger and the outer layer is crispy, loved it. The toast was great, no chance to complain. Out of the hot drinks, the hot chocolate was deliciously tasty. They has available sitting space for any size of the group. Also nice and clean. Enjoy 😉
