Old Bexley Greek Taverna in Bexley

First time here, great food, brilliant menu including veggie options, good service, food prices really good. Wine probably a bit more expensive than expected. But balanced out with food prices. Had a great meal, will go again

Such a lovely authentic restaurant, service is brilliant and staff are really attentive, and the prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend the meze and its only £17pp! Definitely returning!

Booked a table for four people at 19:30 for Jan 29th. Turned up at 19:30 to be told "sorry we're too busy we don't have any tables. We might have one in half an hour... Maybe a bit longer". I said but I've booked, the woman said it doesn't matter we have no tables, people ahead of us (another group of four) were told the same thing and also got turned away.So... What is the point in booking? Why didn't you call me early on the evening? Instead you let us get a taxi down there and told us on the door to go away. I've never known anything like it. Won't be going back ever again.

One of my absolute favourite restaurants. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food never disappoints. Looking forward to my next visit!

Traveled over an hour to visit you guys only to leave after waiting for soup and humus for over 45min! Nobody kept us updated, we were told the starters are on the way only to wait another 10min before asking where the starters are. We waited another 10min and told the waiter we were leaving - his response “okay bye” not even to try and keep us there.

The food is delicious. 🦑 Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff🤩 . I recommend it to anyone who likes good food🦐, drinking🥂🍹 in a cozy restaurant

Have been going to Bexley Greek Taverna for years. Open all day and do a very cheap two course set lunch until about 4 pm. Food is top quality, very freshly cooked and large portions. Staff friendly and efficient

Can't fault it. Down for work and been meaning to get here for a little while. Will definitely back. The trout on the coals was so tasty and such good value. See you soon

Wonderful. It was very busy last night when we dined here. The food and service was amazing. The portions are good and the flavours superb. We will defo be going again. I wish the music also played upstairs though.

This was my 1st visit to the Taverna, 4 of us for a birthday meal, my pic is of my starter which was huge as was all courses food was plentiful very nice ambiance + waiter very friendly + they were verygood with the distancing + hygiene temperature taken etc. highly recommend I will certainly go again.
