Oscars Fish & Chips in Bexley

Customer service has always been spot on. Lovely owner and the girls behind the counter are very friendly. Parking is not the easiest and wish they would take card. Apart from that they are spot on as their food tastes great too.

Bad customer service, food wasn't great, portion sizes where okay but it was priced accordingly so I wouldn't exactly call it a generous portion. Fries were also soggy and a little undercooked.

We got the Haddock and Chips £10.95 via Deliveroo on a weekday evening.The portions are huge so 2 of us shared 1 portion.I was half expecting the fish to be soggy by the time the delivery arrived - as with most fish & chips places- but I was so surprised. The batter was SUPER crispy, the fish was really meaty and the whole thing just wasn’t greasy at all. Chips were nice too.Highly recommend and would definitely get this again.

Lovely owner and fantastic chips.I visited the shop just before closing this evening. It was 21:55. Most fish and chip shops would have been reluctant to serve us and given us old chips but the owner and staff were so welcoming and made us fresh fish and chips. They were all very polite and the chips were freshly made and of excellent quality. Just what we needed. Thank you for a lovely meal and great service 😊.

Have used Oscars for some time, a d I am sorry to say, the standards have dropped dramatically. I am used to them cooking there fish fresh to order. The last couple of times I have had a delivery, the fish seemed to be warmed up from lunchtime. Not nice at all.

Ordered through just eat. Order was ready to be delivered at 7.01pm we didn't get it till 9pm. We rang restaurant to be told its here and if you want it either pick it up or just cancel with just eat. The younger lady was rude unprofessional and unhelpful. They delivered the 2 hour old food and it was cold dry and inedible. We did not eat anything just eat won't refund and restaurant don't really seem to care. Next time I'll stick to places we know.

A friend and I used to enjoy our treat for lunch when we both were home during the week. Today we were so looking forward to our treat as we have not done so for a few weeks pretty much since I had gone back to work from sick leave, what a disappointment it was today, the chips looked and tasted like they were soak in oil, our grilled haddock was burnt, and taking one mouth full I was almost I instanty ill and could not eat another bite!! what has happened to loudmouth watering Oscars??? something is very wrong.

First time, introduced by a friend. Had the large Cod & chips - Excellent Will definately go back and highly recommend the C&C. Made to feel welcome and had a good chat whilst Cod was cooked to order.

Honestly the best fish and chips place I've ever been to. Really friendly owners, chips are delicious, and fish is the right mixture of crispy and greasy without being soggy. It's a gift and a curse knowing about this great place 😉
