Pizza Express - Bexleyheath in Bexley

Been here for dinner with my family and everything was exceptional. Food was great and fast and our waiter Marta was sure we are been taken care of. Would definitely come again soon.

Went here for lunch with my nephew over the weekend and I have to say, the waiter initially was quite friendly and welcoming, but it didn't last long. He spent very long chit chatting to other customers that he barely came around when you needed something. I asked for a dip or a sauce of some kind for my nephew to which he said, 'we don't have any' half way through the meal, I noticed the dips/sauces section on the menu, so he basically lied. He became quite short and unfriendly as soon as we ordered our starters, for no reason, it didn't help that his English was poor too. The Margherita pizza looked awful, we asked for a large and it was so stretched out that the base was crispy and burnt. The pizza came sliced and all the slices were uneven, and because it hadn't been sliced properly, the cheese had been pulled in all directions. It was horrible. AVOID going to this branch!! They also had an offer for free dough balls when you join their club, when I asked what table number we were as you need to input into the app, he said we don't have table numbers and you can't use that app here - why have you got the flyers on the table asking customers to join then?!!! Very poor customer service and quality of food.

Great staff and wonderful service, was there for a birthday and they went above and beyond to take care of us , even with all the dietary requirements we had. Will definitely come here again. Thank-you so much for for a wonderful evening

I visited a Pizza Express today for the first time as I was accompanying my friend to her interview, as we entered we were greeted by friendly staff and were given a table, a waitress then came by later and asked what we were having, I am Vegetarian, so I was stuck thinking about what to get, the waitress started introducing the different options to me and then surprised me by notifying me that there was a specific "Vegan" Menu available which I never knew.The waitress was really lovely and accommodating and even when I asked if I could keep the Menu's and started taking pictures of the items she was being really helpful and also spoke to me about the lighting. I would say that the waitress actually gave me the best service I have ever had at a restaurant to date. Even when I called her back to ask whether I can add another item to the order she happily obliged and kindly took my extra order and notified the chef.When I asked the Manager at the end if it was alright for me to take pictures of the place for this review, he was really accommodating, one picture is of one of the chef's there spreading the 'sunshine', really loved the experience there, would go again for it.The restaurant was a modern open plan establishment with friendly staff and a welcoming aura, it was bright and cheerful which really contrasted with the gloomy rainy outdoors at the time of my visit. The Chef's area is situated right in the centre of the room which adds an additional brilliance as you can see them working with gusto and enthusiasm.The Pizza I bought was the: Classic Style "Sloppy Vegan", it came quite fast, and I was given a pizza wheel to cut the pizza, that was my first time being asked to cut the pizza myself and it was a refreshing experience, really enjoyed it. The pizza was scrumptious, though next time I will try one of the Romana Pizza's for another new experience.I also got the "Hot Jalapeno Dough Balls", these were delicious, my friend recommended me to buy these and it was worth it. They came with a spicy dip as well as being drizzled in some, the chilly wasn't overwhelming and quite tasty.In the end the price came to £19.75, however we ended up being so satisfied with the service we decided to leave a £10 tip behind. Really enjoyed the experience here. Would recommend to attend.

We went for Monday lunch and the place was empty. Waiter friendly, toilets clean, food very tasty and filling. Gluten free food, coeliac safe - best quality pizza going. Better than Domino's gluten free. Amazing place for coeliacs.No parking for drivers unless you wanna pay.Would go again.

We’ve had a super evening. A table of 14 at 8pm on a busy Saturday evening can be a challenge. The staff were lovely, very attentive service, the food was served together and was really delicious. Thank you.

Visited for the first time on a Wednesday night. Very nice Romana pizza. The thin crust was amazing The service was great even though they were quite busy for a weekday evening.

Slow service, kids pasta was soggy, Caesar salad had no dressing and was sent back twice. Ran out of desserts on a Saturday 😕They seem to prioritise Uber eats orders over dine in customers.

I have to say what a wonderful time we had at Pizza Express Bexleyheath. We visited as a family on Christmas eve after booking a table, and I have to say the atmosphere was magical The restaurant was very busy,with all tables full,(good job we had booked a table).The service from all the staff was exceptional, and especially from Shah the manager,who went above and beyond normal customer service. He made a point to go and see all the customers to make sure everyone was ok. To do this on one of your busiest nights of the year,is really saying something. It was really refreshing to see a manager hands on,helping out his staff with everything,and leading by example. All the staff looked happy, and all had a smile on their faces.Will definitely be back again soon.

We went there as no one was picking up our calls for a table. He told us we needed to book a table before arriving which I addressed that we did try making only that he answered but oh the phone is not working.He was really rude or Mayb they were just very busy. However I could see few free tablesThey might need to increase the number of staffs to offer better service
