Stuzzichini in Bexley

We came on a Monday night, there were some tables already and looked like there was a party. We were seated as normal. The waiter told us that the service may be a bit slow. We saw a few tables came in after us. They ordered after us and somehow they received their starters before us. We waited around 45 mins for our starters. The waiter told us our starters would arrive in a few munitions but we waited further 15 mins. When the starters arrived, we ordered a glass of wine and a glass for water. They weren’t delivered until after we finished our starters. We ordered a side of mushrooms which we did not receive and we ordered small glasses of wine but charged large instead. The food was average but deep fried oysters were very tiny and food was definitely not worth the wait. I do think if they could not serve the customers adequately they should tell the customers before seating them or refuse to seat them. It just does not give a great customer service. We would not choose to come back, sadly.

Excellent food, very tasty with a lot of variety. They had a good Gluten free selection of starters and mains but sadly only ice cream for dessert of you're gluten intolerant. That aside we had a fantastic evening celebrating my birthday, they accommodated 26 of us in the lovely conservatory area. There is an accessible toilet with rails and raised seat but it's in an awkward position where staff are very busy. All in all I'd say I'd go back and recommend the food.

Lamb chops cooked to perfection, soft, tender, not fatty. Sea bass was melt in the mouth gorgeous.Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Will definitely go back again.

The staff were friendly. Even the poor woman seating us, who had just had surgery on her arm, provided service with a smile. The food was out quickly and tasted good. And pudding was delicious too.Can I also say that, reading through the reviews, I love how you ask if there's any way you could improve for their next visit. It really shows customer care. And by the way, I can't think of any improvements that could be made to my experience.Thank you! :)

Great choice of starters, mains and drinks. Would have been 5* but although I don't generally eat a desert, I found the choice a little "samey" and a "large"glass of wine isn't that large.Staff are friendly and efficient, service was ideal, prompt but not rushed. Mains are generous and well proportioned, and seem good value. Unsure of the how much food would arrive, I very nearly ordered a vegetable side dish. Very glad I didn't as my calves liver arrived on a long narrow plate with a large helping of creamy polenta, tender stem broccoli tips and salad, more than enough after my deep fried seafood starter which was delicious. My wife chose Milanese goat cheese balls with walnut and pear to start, which were very nice, and the Pappardelle Gustose dish for a main. I didn't get an opportunity to taste that one!Beware, you will see us again!

1st time at Stuzzichini had a lovely evening, in a lovely restaurant. Food was very nice. Would go again.

Their food is good and nice customer service , environment is nice as well.I do think they can improve their recipes little bit but overall is good
