The Boathouse Carvery in Bexley

We had a fantastic day.We booked way back in July 2021 for April 2022.It was for our blessing/ renewal of wedding vows.We booked for 70 people.We ordered the hot buffet which had a mix of hot and cold.We asked for 8 circle tables and 3 small square tables.We arrived and everything was set up.It was perfect from booking to the day.Ann who was the person we was in contact with messaged us a few days before to check we was all ready to go and said we can arrive slightly early to make sure everything was perfect and it gave me a chance to change.

Very nice view, catering was very fresh and good food for the special event I attended.

Lovely food in a busy restaurant where friendly staff provided really good customer service. Particulary good for families. Lovely view of the lake as well but not from every table.

Nice staff, good food pleasant surroundings. Just lacked an atmosphere.

From our initial enquiry we were given the most friendly, warm, attentive and sympathetic service to help us make the arrangements for the wake of our loved one.The venue itself is attractive and light, airy and spacious with wonderful uplifting views of the lake, and with comfortable seating of a high standard with clean white linen tablecloths and china.Many people commented on the day how much they enjoyed the delicious food from the buffet option we had chosen. We also appreciated the other facilities available: a PA system for speeches, music being played from a playlist of our choosing, and a projector and screen to show photos (NB this requires that the photos be preloaded onto your own laptop). The serving staff were efficient and friendly throughout.All of these details helped to make a very special day for us all, and contributed greatly to this celebration and fitting memorial for our loved one.

Attended the Boathouse Function Suite today for a funeral afters.Beautifully decorated room with terrace. Big, bright spacious and warm, with a delicious choice of foods.Staff very friendly and helpful.Highly Recommend.
