The Earl Haig in Bexley

Nice atmosphere but the ales all taste musty. Don't know if it's the pipe cleaning agent or lack of it. Have raised concerns with bar staff but still the same musty taste months later. Looking around the bar most people are drinking lager. Shame as I prefer ales.

Really nice fish & chip lunch followed by sticky toffee pudding & custard. Friendly atmosphere and clean loos. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning soon

Nice evening , was a bit of a wait for our drinks , but our food was nice and it was a busy Saturday night and staff was doing there best . 👌 we will definitely be back .

Although they were fully booked, they still managed to accommodate my husband and I. Food was delicious and portion size was good.. we will definitely return! High-Quality and highly recommended

Nice place for sure, friendly service too. Would I go again? Yes, for a drink and try something else in the menu. Would I have a Sunday roast again? No, the veg was microwaved and was like rubber, meat was nice, spuds were ok

Lovely warm atmosphere with friendly bar staff and a great selection of enjoyable drinks of your choice alongside a tasty menu of food which is served by happy staff who make sure your completely satisfied. Recommended

A very nice roast with generous helpings of vegetables. Do remember to order all starters and desserts at the same time if wanting to take advantage of the discounts. I forgot, but the friendly and helpful manager reopened our good order and added on dessert for my son.Highly recommended. Will come again.

I had a lovely Bacon and cheese burger which was cooked perfectly and presented well. The staff were polite and smiley. The service was A* would highly recommend and will be returning with the family.

Bar staff really friendly. Unfortunately food was disappointing, ordinary sliced white bread as no bloomer but we were not told. Lady bringing food literally threw the plates on the table and never cracked half a smile the whole time we were there. You might be busy but don't take of out on the customer!

The Earl Haig is our local and has always been our go to place.However, just lately the food has gone down hill in a big way!Went there today for my birthday lunch, sign up saying there is a delay on food. Not a problem. Ordered lunch and was told food was taking around 30 minutes.An hour later still no food. My sister went to ask how long it would be, it came out just after.My meal was shocking. Chicken full of water and not cooked properly, and the rest of the dish was swimming in water.I will not be visiting for food again any time soon. The kitchen needs a good shake up. Very disappointed
