Today we had a lovely carvery and was served by Becky. She made us all feel welcome and was very engaging with the customer. Although the beef was tough and they were out of cookie dough. It was a nice visit.

Highly recommend Toby at Bexleyheath. Went for lunch with my daughter and had beef Yorkshire wrap rather than carvery. Food was delicious and very filling. Reasonably priced too! A shout out to the lovely friendly waitress who made us feel very welcome. Will be back again!

Simply the best Toby carvery 'Crook Log' in Bexley. I had my 60th birthday here with my family Christmas 2017, and a well presented meal and birthday treat was enjoyed by my folks - on behalf of the staff/ management at the time. Matt was the manager then, I personally thank him and all the staff - thoroughly enjoyed the meal and occasion. My wife and I have been here countless times before, this we earmark our favourite local carvery. The staff and management have served us well and always done us proud. I cannot fault this cheerful carvery located in an historical inn house. The roast pork, beef, and turkey is served by the chefs, the vegetables you help yourself. We found best times very fresh at noon and plenty on show. Drinks, sweets and any other extras on the menu are served by very delightful, cheerful and welcoming staff - including all cooks and waitors / waitresses. My wife and I revisited on 28/2/22, we enjoyed yet another 'mouth - watering' tasty roast dinner and sweet; coffee floaters, non - alcoholic drinks served here too! I applaud 👏 Lisa ( waitress who served us both so well ...10/10 to Lisa 👍..) , indeed all the staff so friendly and happy to please we have found in the past. Do remember though to record your car registration on the computer by the entrance inside the doorway of the Inn, the car park is owned by the restaurant !!!.....Access at the rear via the private but sizeable car park - can be busy due to local popularity. There is access for the disabled and a ground floor toilet too. Also a warm cosy but sizeable bar and seating areas. The Carvery very popular Christmas time bookings. Normal weekday (noon to 2pm) are popular with families and senior customers, but really almost any other time be it weekday or weekend. Clean, hygenic, cosy warm, and tidy throughout. Traditional old world architectural features both interior and exterior. They also serve a very hearty tasty breakfast in the mornings all week, I recommend if you have the time to spare. 👍 Well done Toby Carvery, keep up the very good hospitality and food 👍 A1 - 10/10. All the very best, Chris. A happy 😊 customer.

Used to eat here before was always good but now it's much improved. Fabulous food, nice atmosphere, helpful staff despite how busy they were. Really good experience and I will be back soon

Have visited this Toby a number of times in past and thoroughly enjoyed it. we went back last night first time since pandemic and was very disappointed. It all seemed very rushed, a bit like a conveyor belt. As soon as we sat down we were asked if we would like to go up and get food before we had even had a drink. The food was not hot and the sauces to go with the meat were not correct, there was mint sauce but no lamb meat, and no cranberry or apple sauce to go with the turkey and pork meat. We seemed to be seated where the staff ate their meals and was not at all comfortable. Definitely not worth what we paid. Would not recommend this Toby or go back there.

Absolutely lovely. We went for breakfast and despite getting there at the end of breakfast service food was fresh and hot with everything available. Lots of seating and a big car park. Good value for money. We had 7 beaskfasts with refillable teas and cold drinks for under £50. Staff were polite and helpful. Defo recommend if you are in the area

Really excellent food and service. Warm and cosy. The guys serving the food where lovely. The 2 older women on reception seemed a bit grumpy when we arrived. Almost like they didn't want us there! It felt really odd. But overall, great.

I'm not a fan of Toby Carvery but visited as a majority choice with other family members. I last visited this particular restaurant approx 12 years ago and the place hasn't changed! It's very dated and in need of a refurb!Service was timely and friendly. Drinks were fine. Food could have been hotter. Other family members enjoyed our meal there and overall we had a good time.

Great place for a value lunch or dinner. Unfortunately they were short staffed on the day we visited (hence dropping one star as there was a bit of waiting) but the two ladies and one gentleman running the show did a superb job. Extremely professional attitude during a very high pressured service. The staff were just great. Toby Carvery, I hope you pay your staff well as they deserve it. Food was delicious too but ran out of cranberry sauce for the turkey. On the whole a very good experience with plenty of delicious food.
