Had a reasonably priced Sunday lunch today with friends. Roast beef and all the trimmings. Slight issue on arrival with a pint of beer, but this was dealt with quickly. Friendly staff and manager.

·

Bar staff were nice but the manager was extremely miserable, just sat drinking.Only half the menu was available and the food took well over an hour to arrive - steak overcooked and the pie had next to nothing inside.

·

I will start by saying the staff are pleasant and engaging; and the music and atmosphere was good fun.We ordered nachos (which were over-seasoned, but fine), the sour cream was runny and separating the nachos from the oily cheese made eating it hassle, firstly, because it the chips snapped, and secondly because it looked unappealing and greasy. Perhaps just bad luck. The tacos looked unappetising to begin with and compared to the description and the picture on the menu, it was a far cry from what we’d expected. The salad was tired, the chicken was fatty, drowned by the spicy sauce. My beer, was okay, but soon went flat. It was a little tired, again, just one of those things. There should be a little extra training on how to draw a pint of beer as I needed to ask for it to be topped up to the meniscus - and then for some reason had the head removed from it.My wife enjoyed her small bottle of OJ.All in all, a tremendous waste of £20. I was recommended this venue for a meal and found that the food was lacking and that the cellarmanship could use a little work.

We booked a table for 6 for dinner, to celebrate a birthday. We had never been there for food before. We came in and stood for a very long time before a member of staff noticed us. When we told her we had a reservation she then tutted, rolled her eyes and went to a dirty table, moved the chairs to it and said that'll do. We decided to sit in the garden as that was a vast improvement to the table we were offered. When we ordered drinks, we were initially told that the wait for food would be 45 mins to 1 hour. We were deciding what we were going to have for 5 minutes and when we went back to the bar to order, we were then told that the wait had increased to 2 hours - now how the wait had increased from 45 minutes to 2 hours in less than 5 minutes, I will never know. We left the pub hungry and disappointed, with a birthday ruined. And as for the garden, I am a dog person, having had a dog all my life but there were people allowing their dog to wander all across the garden with no lead on and the dog was walking/standing on all the tables that were unoccupied. Now that I believe is quite disgusting. There were staff members watching this and they refused to say anything. As we were leaving a member of staff came and shouted at us across the garden 'are you leaving?' When we replied yes she said 'oh' and walked away. We were appalled by the way that we were spoken to. Throughly disappointed.

Very friendly service. The food is very reasonable and good. Good veggie menu

·

Lovely pub. My local boozer and never fails whenever we go down there. Would 100% recommend it, good food and good range of drinks 👍🏼

·

Booked a table to watch football but also had a 1 year old with us, which everyone with children will tell you could be stressful trying to eat out. However, this pub deserves some praise! They got us a table in front of a TV, with a high chair - it was the perfect table for us! We felt so relaxed and they really took care of us and the food was really good! We are definitely coming back soon! Thank you!

Nice atmosphere, but quite noisy music when we were there. We waited over an hour for food. We got an apology but no offers for a reduction of cost. Some of the meals were ready but it was just waiting to be served.

Had a nice vegetarian meal on Sunday and found the staff friendly.Would recommend this pub/restaurant as we had a pleasant afternoon. Plenty of car parking spaces available.pleasant2

We came for Halloween and we confirm the first great impression we had. The food was amazing and the drinks superbe. I've really appreciate the staff care, I'm pregnant and I did 100 questions about food and drinks and everybody's been super kind and helpful. My husband was absolutely satisfied about the drinks and as always the bill was surprisingly cheap respect the quantity of food and alcohol he got 😂In relation to the covid situation, the pub is super safe, facemasks and social distancing are in place and hand sanitizer is available. We booked to spend our Xmas day there ❤️Can't wait
