This place has left mixed feelings. I loved the interior, music, it was pretty dark in there but cozy and relaxing. We came for a supper and ordered 4 meals. I've ordered a prawn curry and was the only one totally satisfied with my choice. The curry was superb! And the rice - the best I've tried. I also pinched a few fries from my husband plate. They were seasoned and l loved the taste. So as for the food l couldn't grumble! My husband's steak (which was asked to be cooked rare) came well-done in his opinion and medium to well-done in mine. He doesn't normally complain but for £22 he decided he could get a better cooked steak. So a few minutes later a new steak arrived and was cooked almost to perfection. My friends were not very happy about their meals but they were just ok. But here's what was bad: 2 waiters for a massive place! How can two people cope with so many orders l don't know. As a result, the service was slow! The waiter who served us was a really nice person, patient, with a smile on his face, trying to please. The waitress... had a real attitude, didn't even try to smile, had a go at us (and l mean it!!!) and l had a feeling she was on the borderline of rolling up her eyes every time she had to deal with us🙄 The drinks were arriving for ages, all ready standing on the bar but no one could just find a minute to bring them to us. In the end, husband had to go and grab his one himself)) food, environment - nice, service - could be a lot better (they are really understaffed!) so the waiters are tired and annoyed (which is understandable), and poor chef was cooking on his own (!!!) (he cooks in front of you) had to manage all the orders (no surprise the steak was overdone). Nice place with a poor management.

Cabana is a nice place to enjoy company with friends while being in a fun environment. Being on a semi tight budget I found it can be a little pricy. But since I has just stoped in for a drink and small bites it wasn’t too bad.

Slow service, poor food, burnt rice, some portions were very small, someone's prawn and sweet potato curry, had one single prawn and no potato in it. all very overpriced for what was offered. Would you pay £20 for this?

In an almost empty restaurant with more staff wandering around doing nothing, I shouldn't have had to wait over 20 minutes to order and then a further 15 minutes for my cocktails to arrive. The couple next to me waited a total of 35 minutes for a bowl of icecream!!I'm still waiting for my starter....

Remove your bad reviews. This place is banging. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Great cocktails and fairly priced. ❤️

My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic evening meal here, the atmosphere was great and the food was spot on! I would definitely go back, I really like that they sell the sauces that they serve the food with!

Okay restaurant with several options for lunch and dinner. They also have a happy hour all day everyday. We ordered Caipirinhas and they were okay but with very little alcohol and a lot of ice. We also had a strawberry mojito and it was the same... I guess you get what you pay for (2*£10). The staff was helpful and the restaurant seemed clean.

The food is always great and so are the drinks however I've deducted a star because of a mix up with the hotness we wanted our food and because the dough balls were quite hard and stale.

What a terrible experience! When we finally got in we were greeted to ear deafening music that at its max was 78db, Ed sheeran was 86db. Our table was shouldered between two other tables. They were quick to come over and take our order, but that was the only quick thing of the night. We had ordered 5 of their tapas dishes which took 45 mins. When they finally arrived we only had 4. The halloumi had ran out but no one had come over to ask if we wanted to change. There was meant to be a side of their special fries as well. When I asked about them I was looked at as stupid because I couldn't pronounce the name properly. 5 minutes later someone else turns up with guac and chips. When I said that was wrong and it should have been the special chips, I again got the "look". Dying of thirst, we never saw a waiter again and due to the music I couldn't call someone. Finally after 20mins the chips arrive.. Wrong and for £6 they tasted like sweet potato with burnt grave on top. The food was awful. Overcooked and tasted bland. The chilli they push their business on does not improve the food. Finally we catch a break, our server was stood next to our table long enough to ask for the bill. When she asked how was it (plates still on table) I said our experience had been awful and the music was too loud. She said sorry, she had noticed we were waiting and tried to speed our food up (but not asked if we were OK). Finally the bill comes with an additional fries added to it and guac and chips. When I asked for it to be changed it took 3 people to sort it out. Finally a manager came over and asked what my problem was. I explained it all to her and said it was not worth it and I am not paying full price. With no apologies she huffed and stormed out back like a small child who had been told off. She kindly returned with a discount applied. As much as we ate the food, it was out of necessity, not want. I appreciate that it was a very busy night and if you look through my local guides review, I don't give out 1 stars that often. But when you can demonstrate to us how it should be done to the tables next to us and not properly apologise when you mess up, that doesn't work for me.
