1st time ordering. Always a worry however good was fantastic. Only place I know that does a sauce with the biryani and the quality is superb.

A very nice meal. Clean, fresh and tasty. One of the best I've had in South London. Keep it up.

Bland tasteless. Spent £50 worth of takeaway and the food was undercooked and not even seasoned. It says "Indian takeaway", but inside they're all Nepalese workers, even chefs. Me being indian and my partner pakistani, we went with high expectations as it being a "Fine Indian Food" but we were very disappointed with the result.

I never write online reviews, in fact this is the first time I've ever done one. However, our experience with Holy Cow yesterday evening was so shockingly bad, and they made such little effort to resolve it, that I really wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with that. Unless they make some changes I would strongly advise against ordering from them. Having a rubbish meal experience isn't the end of the world, but when you're in it it feels extremely frustrating. It was the first time some of us had seen each other since last October, due to the pandemic. We ordered a meal of 115 pounds from Holy Cow, they sent us a single dish, someone else's order. We returned it and the restaurant assured us ours was on the way, but it never arrived. We contacted the restaurant to try to understand what had happened, they told us to speak to Deliveroo, as far as they were concerned it was not their problem. Granted, once the meal is with the driver it is not the restaurant's responsibility, but it is their responsibility to ensure the right meal goes with the right driver; and surely a reasonable business would help their customers to track down 115 pounds worth of food, or to secure a refund.Deliveroo wrote to us to say they would not refund us (!!!). So I went to speak to Holy Cow in person to try to establish what had happened and ask them to communicate with Deliveroo to ensure we were refunded. They had alarmingly little interest in helping; one of their employees spoke extremely curtly, saying this wasn't their problem and asking me to leave (!!!?). In addition, my sense was that they were dishonest about what happened to our food, saying that the driver had taken it home. Whilst possible, it seems unlikely that a driver would risk their livelihood by stealing a huge order. Much more likely that our meal went to another customer, and Holy Cow tried to cover this up to avoid having to remedy. These guys are more like holy cowboys. By the looks of other reviews the food's pretty hit and miss too. Avoid until they sort their act out.

This would be up in my top 5 worse experience of service from a restaurant. We had a family gathering to celebrate not seing our parents for 8 months due to C.Placed an order on Deliveroo worth over £120. 45 minutes later a rider comes with a bag with one item and a wrong name. As a restaurant owner myself - its the restaurant's duty to check the order number correlates to the correct Deliveroo rider. Any way, I called the restaurant after we sent the driver on his way, to tell them about this mistake. ZERO accountability. They told us to call Deliveroo... by that time on the app it showed our order has arrived, yet when we claimed that we got nothing both deliveroo and the restaurant said the rider could not find the address and therefore no refund would be issued. We rssorted to going to the restaurant physically to try and sort it out and basically got a rude and un co operating attitude. After 4 emails and 1 hour on live chat Deliveroo agreed to refund us, and we put some real cows on the BBQ and saved the eveing. 2 hours of wasted time, lazy attitude from the restaurant who chose to partner with Deliveroo. Never to return again.

I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time! We always order Holy Cow take-away for ages now, and we absolutely love it. Every time we order at least one new dish and it is always delicious.Always arrives quickly and everything is hot.Our favourite order-in meal 😋

Order £50 worth of takeaway and it turns up over 30 mins late, cold and wet. Our poppadoms seemed to have been completely crushed as well - won’t be going back again

Our fav Indian place for take away. Tasty, portions are ok, a bit more expensive than some others but quality is better. Food is never drown in oil. Lamb rogan josh is just melting in your mouth. Always put some some freebies.

We've had a lot of local curriers and Holy Cow is the best (maybe equalled by Dishoom at twice the price via Deliveroo). Consistently good, quality food and lots of meat. Tastes very clean and full of flavour. And after over a year of ordering via Deliveroo, we tonight realised we can order from their website for 20% less. Game changer!

So, here's the review. It took one hour 15 minutes to arrive and I called twice to check it was coming at all. It arrived in sealed packages and looked great. It was cold. Not even warm. Cold. It tasted as good as it possibly could for cold indian food. Fresh and no grease at all, but cold.I live in Tooting and it was a rogue choice to venture to other indian restaurants when we have Lahore and mirch masala. Will I order again? Sit down yes, take away, no. What's the point in ordering take away if you have to heat it up in the oven?
