The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. The pub itself was an attractive building and the bar was nice. Location was convenient and I suppose for London the price was reasonable but you don't get much bang for your buck! The room was OK but with lots of issues. The WiFi did not work, my TV had the wrong connectors so it also did not work. No-one was able to fix the problem. The room was so hot I had to sleep with windows wide open and as its on the Harrow Rd it was then very noisy. You could not control the amount of heat coming from the radiator. The radiator cover was broken and looked really shabby, along with the tatty furniture. The bed was comfortable however. The shower had no water pressure and I could barely get the dribble of water to wash the shampoo out of my hair. No waste bin in room and no complimentary shampoo/conditioner, only bulk buy soap. There was no room service so on second day of stay I had no water, tea/coffee. There was no indication if the bathroom cold water was potable. Room signs were on scruffy bits of paper and not laminated. Despite the pub being open for food had to walk down the road to get a drink/breakfast.

Just had the roast, a pan seared rump of lamb, perfectly cooked, all the trimmings, done to a tee. Honestly was excellent. One of the best London roasts, if not the best, that I have had for a while. Accompanied by an unobstrusive but excellent jazz pianist in the background. Kosher!

Really lovely Sunday lunch at the William. Spacious dining room and the best staff. Everyone we spoke to there was super friendly and helpful with everything, perfect! Food and drinks were great, we will definitely be back

My husband and I stayed at the William IV Guest House in January 2022 while visiting family that live nearby. It was easy to book our reservation and pay online. The owners graciously gave us an unsolicited free room upgrade when we arrived since they were not as busy during the time of year that we visited. The room itself was spacious enough for two, the bathroom small but manageable, and our room faced out over the side street so heard some noise but no real disturbances. The pub was not open for breakfast so we received coupons for Double Shot down the street, which had delicious coffee and pastries, and our few visits to to the pub for drinks was excellent - especially the espresso martinis! Overall a great experience, pleasant stay, and good location with easy access to other parts of London.

Lilly helped organise a wake for my grandpa here. And she was wonderful. She helped me from the minute I called to when we left the building. We had great wake and I can’t recommend her highly enough. The whole thing ran so smoothly, and it was a great place to have a wake. The food was so delicious, we could bring our own deserts, and the drinks were great. Thank you so much.

Decent pub, unbelievable food. Have been for both the Sunday roast ( probably the best I have ever had) & for dinner in the week. The food is not your standard pub grub - it is a class above. e.g. Had some life changing soft shell crab tacos. Strongly recommend

Perfect service. Food was outstanding.pork was petfect. And the jazz piano player was a welcome bonus.Being a musician myself was great to see someone paid and appreciated for their raw talent..not just a radio playlist of songs we have all heard before a million times.5 stars here. Reasonably priced and delisshhh.will return all day long

William IV have the best sunday roast in West London you gonna find these days. I have been living in different areas for the last 10 years and I couldn't find a pork as tasty and soft as this one. We were even lucky enough to enjoy someone playing amazing tunes in the piano they have in the room!The garden outside is really nice for big gatherings in sunny days as well. If you live around West I wouldn't think twice!

Great pub, hired an area for a private event. Was a really good space and staff were lovely and helpful. Nice place to have a roast and a few drinks on a Sunday also.

We booked a private room for a family occasion. The food was excellent and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient; nothing was too much trouble. We decorated the room in advance and the staff was so helpful facilitating us to do that. The atmosphere was relaxed and all our guests had a really good time. William IV made our occasion run smoothly and well for a very important event. Thank you all so much.
