Have been going to prashad for few years for regular snacks and always been happy with the quality and service they have.

On Saturday 21st May 2022, me and my grandma went into the shop as we wanted to buy some Indian sweets. In the shop, there was a long queue and only 2 staff working. It took us like over half an hour to been severed. Also, we wanted to buy some jalebi but the guy who was going to bring it didn’t not come in time. I think that they should sever customers a bit quickly.

Great tasting sweets and savoury treats, unfortunately now that most items are made off site if you get there too early before midday they won't have everything in stock or available until the delivery arrives which is shame.

·

Food is good but staff is rubbish, they think people coming there are totally free and coming to listen their conversations on call. Not not serving quickly and being hesitant. Rubbish staff. Even not listen proper order as well.

We shop at Prasad sweets wembley almost every 2 weeks, so it never occured to us to doubt the quantity of goods that we were buying. This changed on our last visit when we bought 3 boxes 250 gms each of banana chips. when we reached home one of the boxes looked far too empty so we decided to weigh it, and lo and behold it was only 141gms. as a result we also checked the other boxes and they were all approximately of 200gms, instead of the 250 gms that we paid for.Very dissapointed, we expected better from Prasad Sweets. They keep their mesauring scales at the back where it's not possible for customers to see the quantities being weighed. so next time you're in Prasad sweets make sure to ask them to double check so that you get what you're paying for.Shocked and disappointed by this so posting this review to caution other customers and to make them aware. Caveat Emptor.

Good quality Indian sweets and savouries at reasonable prices, they don't accept cards, I guess this is to keep costs low which is reflected in prices

·

Usually some queues outside the shop to this popular Indian cafe. Lovely cakes, curries and savouries served here. Just be prepared to wait either in-store or outside depending on time of the day

20th February 2021:I was hoping to get some authentic dhokla but was disappointed. It was so dry. Very disappointed.

Best peda in the area. Not too buttery the way Ambala do theirs, and a very popular place with locals, so always as fresh as is possible. I live in Milton Keynes, but whenever I'm in north london i try to make a stop at Prashad Sweets in Alperton. Pre co-vid it was often difficult to get in the door of this place it was so busy, i think that says it all.
