This spot never disappoints. They serve awesome food for fair pricing, there is no waiting time even when they are busy.

Best vindaloo and chips in the world. Staff are very friendly and portions are generous. I love hot🔥 food and my vindaloo always comes the way I like it. Their chips are by far the best in Penge and with the vindaloo sauce combination it is perfection on a plate.I tried two alternatives during lockdown as the shop was closed but nobody does a curry like these gentleman do. Highly recommended 🙌

It was a town of machinery and tall chimneys, out of which interminable serpents of smoke trailed themselves for ever and ever, and never got uncoiled. It had an ebony canal in it, and a river that ran purple with ill-smelling dye, arid astronomical piles of building full of windows where there was a rattling and a trembling all day long, and where the piston of the steam-engine worked monotonously up and down, like the head of an elephant in a state of melancholy madness

We hadn't been here for a while so decided give it a go as it's local to us. Food was good and staff aware of gluten free which is important for me, however, no drinks licence or byo and low stock of soft drinks! Curry with apple juice didn't work for us! Staff were polite and friendly and a real shame, we were the only diners. We won't be going back.

Decent curry and we used to visit a lot. Recently it’s gone alcohol free (including no byo) and we haven’t been back since. I don’t get out enough to not be allowed a beer with my dinner! Shame.

My family have been using this restaurant since I was a child. They always have wonderful service, the delivery person is always very happy as well and the food is amazing (well seasoned and well cooked) ; it's even better the day after!

They don't sell booze and won't let you bring in your own. Food is good. No frills. I just love a beer with my ruby.
