Bridges Fish and Chips in Bromley

Very good chippy, reliably fresh fish and chips are near perfect every time.

We love bridges, the food is always fresh and the staff so friendly. We usually order cod and the portions are brilliant. The batter is always crispy even by the time I get home. My family and I visit at least a week as we can’t get enough. We have never had any issues with wait times and will continue to keep coming back. This is the best in the area!

I went to this Fish & Chip shop on the strong recommendation of a new neighbour, and all that he said if the shop was absolutely correct! I ordered two Cod & Chips and it was excellent, and not expensive in my view. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the pla e was immaculately clean. I will certainly be returning.

Always had lovely food here and make a point of going out of my way to come to bridges, however on good Friday the fish was so oily the box was very wet, I didn’t think much of it however it messed my stomach up. Sadly won’t be coming back.

Nice food but they always seem to run out of large cod.😳

Excellent and reliable Fish and Chips. The quality of the fish is the best we have had in ages. We asked for lighter batter and that was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

I had cod and chips from bridges. I unfortunately chose the chip shop rush hour, and there was a bit of a rush on, so it's a popular venue.The meal that I had was freshly cooked whilst I waited. The cod was excellent, it flaked well the batter was light and crispy and was not oily in flavour or texture. Chips seemed to be fresh rather than frozenand that makes a difference to their texture too.
